Image the mixture of a classic American building, a small basement location around the corner from Court Avenue, and Mexican food.
Sounds like a winning combination, huh? Not so much.
Rather, Bernardo's Burritos is a mixture of an overpriced menu and underwhelming food, (cold, sans flavor) served on bent, banged-up metal pans by two annoyed, and soon to be gratuity-free women who'd rather be anywhere else than behind the counter performing a reasonable facsimile of customer service.
The century old building deserves high quality establishments, not bad jokes.
Additionally, the bad vibes prevented anyone in my party from ordering a drink from the bar.

I'm sure it's great, but if carnitas is an option I'm trying the pork. And it was glorious. Above highly recommend. Go to this place. Stop thinking your gonna find...
