Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Des Moines

I would give this store zero stars if I could. First, I came up to the window to order a medium dipped cherry iced cream cone, and I let the girl know who was working that I had a free coupon to use on the Dairy Queen app and she asked me multiple times as she stated she could not hear me what did you say what did you say I can't hear you and the last couple of times she had said it with a not so nice tone and I finally repeated myself again for the third time respectfully just for her to tell me with an attitude oh I don't think we accept the Dairy Queen coupons off of our dq app and said but let me ask someone else for you. Then, as she proceeded to ask another employee for me, if their location takes coupons off of the Dairy Queen app, the employee asking for me proceeded to point at me when she was asking which I find very disrespectful. Then, after she asked the next employee, this employee said yes, I think we do take the coupons off of our Dairy Queen app. Then, this employee looks at me and says, "Can I see the coupon off of your phone please and then proceeded to tell me oh you have to press the redeem button and I had said very politely and respectfully even though I was getting super annoyed and irritated at this point no that is for when you are going to order online there is the barcode you guys can scan on my app and I got dirty looks from both employees. I said you know what never mind and I respectfully left. I just want to let you guys know that this is not the first time I have had issues with this location and their uneducated employees. I feel like your guys' employees definitely need more education at this location and need to understand how things work and how the Dairy Queen App works so customers do not have the same problems that I have had in the future at this specific location. I also don't recommend anyone going to this Dairy Queen if you plan on using your Dairy Queen mobile app as they obviously do not honor their own mobile app. Also, for the record, if you want chocolate ice cream, don't go to this location because, according to their employees, they don't have chocolate ice cream at this location this is from a...

Terrible service tonight. We pulled up and thought they were closed because all of the lights were off inside. One person working behind the counter was short with us after she gave us something we didn't order. She literally slammed the sliding window and then tried giving us a smaller size than we ordered when she came back. My husband has to knock on the window and tell her ghee ordered a medium. She was totally rude and didn't seem to want to be there. A few customers we were standing there with figured she wanted to appear closed since the lights were all off.
