our bartender Joe provided very poor service and made my girlfriend uncomfortable. we sat at the bar and waited for any type of service for over 5 minutes watching our bartender chat up this older couple at the other end of the bar. upon finally realizing we we've been waiting he comes up to us and says. "oh you were behind me i didn't see you, just yell my name next time i promise you won't hurt my feelings." no apology whatsoever, instead he somehow puts the blame on us as if we're supposed to know that you should just yell at a stranger when you want service. then when i did yell his name (in a loud bar) i repeated it three times only to have him say "hey i heard you i'm just helping someone else" even though i was given no confirmation that he heard me so now i'm just yelling across a bar (which i was directed to do) and unsuccessfully but then in a condescending tone he tries to single us out as if we're being irrational when i didn't even want to be yelling in the first place. most interactions we had with joe were very uncomfortable, he talked in a condescending tone as if we were acting unreasonable and he was trying to calm us down which all we did was yell his name as directed. it's insane that a bartender expects the customers to waive him down for service and the talks down to them when they try to. he also kept pushing for us to get more which really made my girlfriend uncomfortable. he always followed up with "are you sure?" when asking my girlfriend for another drink, like she answered your question dude. look i've worked in plenty of restaurants, i understand 100% that it gets busy (mind you he wasn't busy when he arrived he was chatting up customers and just didn't notice us) but what really bothers me was there was no apology. no admittance of "hey you were inconvenienced, i should have paid more attention" no. it was "hey it was actually your fault for not waving me down" which is what really pissed us off. honestly super disappointing because we really enjoyee fuzzy's when we went last time and our bartender was gr8. i'm sure many customers have had gr8 experiences with joe, and we very well may be outliers but we personally had very poor service and if we go again we will not be...
Read moreI want to start my review off my saying the positive things before the negative... I was here Sunday the 14th under an hour before they closed. It wasn't last minute but it was within an hour of them closing. All of the employees I interacted with were nice and they seemed to communicate well with one another. The food I got was what I asked for. Okay now the negative... the floor was the stickiest floor I have ever had my shoes come into contact with. Not even lying. I have worked in a few fast food places and I gotta say my shoes have never made that sound until I walked on the floor of this place.. it's as if the soda machine had a leak that leaked all over the entire floor and they just dried it up with paper towels.. literally the entire floor. The steak burrito I got was very low quality meat.. was very chunky and tasted old.. I didn't even eat half of it. The food was not cold.. but temperature wise there was hardly any warmth to the food. I tried eating it as soon as I got it out to my car and the food just had no flavor.. tasted low grade and had no heat temperature wise. I have been to the fuzzy's in cedar rapids and it's like night and day compared to this one. Please.... 1. Clean the floor. 2. Turn on the stove. 3. Figure out what's going on with the quality of the steak. Not sure what else to say but I doubt I'll ever be back...
Read moreA couple of years ago this would have been a 5 star review. No longer! Stopped in last Friday night about 11 for a takeout order, it was the biggest mistake of my week . As they were packing it up I noticed they had forgotten the queso and chips. I mentioned it to the expo guy and he literally just slapped some queso in a to-go container and threw it into the bag with cold queso dripping all over it. None of those great toppings they ever put in there with the queso like cheese and tomatoes and cilantro things like that. He also threw in a bag of cold stale chips that were so overly seasoned we could not eat them. When we arrived home we noticed that every single thing was not just cold but ice cold. My shrimp from my shrimp taco was literally, 45 degrees. They also wrapped the tacos so tight that they rolled all the toppings out of the tortillas and smashed it up into the top of the foill wrapping.what was left when you opened up the foil was an empty wet soggy tortilla and taco filling falling out on the table. All the tacos we're also served on corn tortillas which I did not order. I'm not sure who runs or owns fuzzy's tacos these days but whoever it is, they need to take over the reins immediately or my guess is they will lose...
