🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Shout-out to Michael at Jimmy John's on Merle Hay — Truly Outstanding!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to take a moment to recognize someone who genuinely made my day better. I walked into the Jimmy John’s on Merle Hay, and from the moment I stepped in, Michael made me feel so welcomed, seen, and appreciated.

He was very friendly, super helpful, and treated me with a level of care you just don’t see much anymore. Michael didn’t have to go the extra mile—but he chose to, and that’s what made all the difference. He made my experience the best it could be, and honestly, people like him are rare to come by in customer service nowadays.

This kind of energy and kindness deserves to be recognized. Michael should be known for how he treats people—with excellence, respect, and warmth. I truly hope the company sees what a gift he is to their team.

Don't get me wrong - the sandwich tasted fine. Jimmy John's is a great place to eat. The problem is that we order one sandwich for delivery last night and it took 2 minutes shy of 2 hours to get it to the door. If I would have known there was going to be an issue, I would have gone myself. Not sure what is going on, but I believe it may be the delivery driver or lack of drivers. Not our problem though and we should be reimbursed for the issue.

Update: So my wife got hungry again and we order 1 more sandwich again (6 months later). Surely the freaky fast sandwich company that is 2 miles away can't take that long on a weekday at 2pm. Nope - well faster this time - only 1.5 hours to deliver a sandwich, and the owner said they didn't build the biz that way. Maybe you should be at the office more and less on...

Okay so I see the lack of meat is a PROBLEM at this location. My husband ordered a giant and got so much ingredients that it almost hid the fact he got one single slice of meat. Yall.. like see through one piece covering two inch. STRETCHED! The only thing my husband asked for was no tomatoes.. the sandwhich had lack of meat Xtra tomatoes 😂 DO NOT get the wrap, the jalapeños chicken is made with chicken SALAD.. not sliced, shredded or chuck...no..runny salad. So I voiced my grievances..to be told that this store was privately owned and may be going about things differently. The only GOOD thing about the visit was the cashier, he had a beautiful smile and warm embrace. He also didn't let whoever was glaring over his shoulder affect him.. great customer service...
