McDonald's — Restaurant in Des Moines

The food is exactly as you'd expect, it's not great, it's not terrible... The problem here is the service, and the staff, they are terrible.

The kid mopping the floor didn't know what he was doing, and was leaving way more water on the floor then there should be which made it super slick. Our daughter slipped and fell and bonked pretty hard, but for the most part was okay, but even my wife and I we're having problems finding our footing on that slick floor.

When my wife approached the manager to tell her that the floor was dangerous, the manager was extremely short and rude and never once even bothered to ask if our daughter was okay. We weren't expecting much, but at least the most miniscule amount of compassion would have been nice, which we did not get.

We will never be back to this location ever again. The franchise who owns the place really needs to do a quality check on their employees before one of their employees ends up...

Do not come here! I have been coming here regularly since the $1 any size coffee with 3 vanilla and 3 cream in order to get a cheap cup of coffee through a drive through. I also enjoyed the $1 sausage McMuffin, this was a good deal and a cheap breakfast. They have upped the price on the coffee twice in the last few months while they charge for every pump of syrup under the line item "extra sauce charge" and the McMuffin has gone to $2. That essentially doubles the cost of the breakfast I had been enjoying. As a capitalist, I believe they have all the right in the world to do this, but that means as a consumer I will be boycotting this McDonald's and any other with these price hikes, especially during a booming economy, and I encourage the rest of you to do so. Hopefully they see that theie nickel and diming of their customers does not increase, but decreases sales and profits. Do your free market duty and go...

So this is a fast food joint right? Why in the hell is everyone waiting for there food for 30+ minutes? Why are the workers talking about shutting there phone off because people are calling for business purposes? and they could careless to answer it! Why are the workers joking about spitting in people's food and not rushing anything? Why are the managers damn ignorant and just looking at people standing there not even helping anyone or anything. Why are they just on the line looking at there phone with no gloves on not giving a rats ass. Why does my burger have two top buns for a burger by the way? This is this most ridiculous establishment i have been to in such a damn long time. I don't even recommend this place to the homeless. A&W is next door i believe there place should be alot better. This place needs to go. On everything I love this is 100000% factual review my order took exactly 41...
