Santa Fe Bakery — Restaurant in Des Moines

Hidden gem in cash saver. This has been added to cash saver since they were converted from dauls years ago. Tables next to the bakery have goods. There are 2 full cases of pastries. They also have cakes and breads in a section at the front. Get there early because they go fast. If you want churros on a day they don’t have them laid out it’s best to call ahead because they have to make them. I was told the raspberry filled cookies tasted like a shortbread there’s lots to try. Will come back again especially during the holidays becee we use of their festive designs. They can also do heart shaped Conchas and Concha bouquets. Large selection....

TLDR: Locted inside Cash Saver. Baked goods were all delicious but, no signs means it's all guess work. Lucked out with the things we picked out being tasty.

The only complaint I have about this Bakery inside of the cash saver grocery store is, no signs on what anything was. Everything we picked out was by sight only and no signage. Good thing some of us like shredded coconut.

Off to the side on a table we picked up some churros brought them home and warmed them in the oven....

This bakery is amazing! As soon as you step inside, you are greeted with the delightful aroma of freshly baked bread. They offer a wide selection of pan de dulce. You can tell it is a local business with passion for what they do. I cannot recommend this bakery...
