Teriyaki Boys — Restaurant in Des Moines

It had been a couple years since I last had Teriyaki Boys (back then, they were where Fernando's is now in the Local Bites food court), and it was kind of sad to see what used to be a super busy food court with lots of options only have a few open options (that and the dimly lit room made it seem kind of forlorn), but I'm glad to say that Teriyaki Boys had the same great taste and the same competitive pricing.

The amount of food you get for the price in addition to the taste itself is fantastic. We've been trying to find a good teriyaki place that's somewhat comparable to Washington state, and it's safe to say that this definitely helps the teriyaki cravings!

Got the shrimp, beef, and chicken (didn't take a picture of that, but did take a picture of the beef and chicken) with steamed rice. The rice was really good, veggies gave a nice crunch, and the meat was juicy, tender, and...

I placed an order for chicken, beef and shrimp. I got there to pickup and they only put it in as chicken and shrimp. Which I said that’s fine we’ll just leave it be. I get home to eat and there is no teriyaki sauce on my food plus the chicken is burnt so I basically have dry shrimp and chicken with fried rice and vegetables. This was my first time having it after a few years and I probably won’t be returning...

I placed an order on grubhub with them and this was at 1:15pm.. says it will deliver in 30-40 min. Okay im ok with that wait... its 220 and i get a txt msg says my order has Been canceled!! The entire time my app says they are preparing food. I then try to call and ofcourse its now 225 and they are now closed! No way to even resolve this. This is unacceptable!!...
