I have always loved this McAllister's, I am on a first name basis with most of the staff and I used to visit this location at least once a week, for the most part they couldnt be any more friendly. They always get my order right and the food has always been excellent. About a month ago my girlfriend and I ordered carryout around 8pm we hadn't eaten since breakfast as we got caught up running errands all day and were quite hungry, I ordered a Rubin with mashed potatoes and gravy and she the grilled chicken club with soup. When we got home we were pretty devastated. Her chicken sandwich consisted of a dollar coin sized piece of chicken on stale bread and it smelled like sewage. I told her not to eat it, because I didn't want her to get sick. I told her just to eat the soup instead, which after us both trying also ended up in the trash as it had a sour taste. My rubin tasted okay but was a little dry due to a lack if thousand island but at least it was edible. I was hoping that my girlfiend would at least eat my mashed potatoes and gravy but after taking off the lid to the container we found a rock hard lump of what used to be mashed potatoes incased in a semi hard gravy shell. I'm astonished at how all of the food that we ordered that evening was so bad. What happened to one of my favorite convenient restaurants? I haven't been back since and am still thinking about how terrible it all was. I thought about calling the manager the next day to discuss the freshness of their food but I've never been the kind of person to complain. I'm sure it was a 1 in a million incident, and I may go back some day, but this occurance has left a terrible taste in my mouth that may not go away any...
Read more1/30/2021UPDATE Called back up there today to speak with a different manager. Spoke to Kristin...she was absolutely amazing. Apologized for the mix up and helped me out. Super nice, quick and to the point. I greatly appreciate your help Kristin!!! That’s what customer service is all about!!!
1/29/2021-Place is an absolute joke. Ordered food through Uber Eats. Took an hour to get my food delivered, and of course my au ju sauce was missing. Called the store and literally sat on the phone for 14 minutes. Fourteen minutes to “figure out what we could do for you” then the manager offered me a refund of $1 and some change for the au ju sauce. At that point I had it, told her that’s unacceptable as my food was not prepared how I ordered and paid for it and even if I was going to eat it the way it was I had spent 14 minutes on the phone while she “figured it out” therefore my wrongly prepared food is now freezing cold. That’s when she referred me to Uber Eats because apparently it’s the delivery companies problem that they couldn’t correctly...
Read moreI love McAlister’s deli! So today I decided to visit a different location from my usual one. I placed the order online & went to pick it up. However, when I got to the location to pick up the order, they weren’t able to find it. So I showed the order info to the very nice young lady who was helping me. She basically told me that I had placed the order at the other location that was on the other end of the same road! Wow! I asked if I could cancel that order and just place one with her (after she offered) but she basically told me she would inquire with the manager if I could get my entire order replaced at no cost even though it was my fault! She even offered me a drink! If that’s not GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE then I don’t know what is!!! This staff is exceptional and treated me better than the majority of restaurants I have visited in recent years! I will definitely continue to patronize McAlister’s until I can’t!!!!!!!
