They have extremely rude, difficult booking staff. I was discriminated against, just simply trying to book a room for my birthday. They made me explain to them several times what service my dog was trained for. Even when I explained that I was willing to pay the pet fee just so that I didn’t have to explain for the discrimination. I explained to them that I wanted to pay their pet fee and get a pet friendly room - just so that I didn’t have to deal with exactly what they were making me go through. Which was the first associate screening me making me explain to her what my service dog is train for, continuing to tell me all these policies about how I need to understand that I needed to have the dog with me all times. Of course if you have a service dog, you need to have them with you at all times. Furthermore, they continue to do make it stressful to even have a conversation with them about it. So stressful it took away the concept of wanting to go on a vacation there because then I started to imagining just being stuck there with those on hospitable people who don’t respect that you are actually paying your hard earned money and taking time and choosing the resort a mini resorts to go to in the area that all have hot springs on their properties!!
And that it would be easier to just bring her as a pet then have to deal with all of their screening and all of their nonsense, and all of their accusations of trying to say that she isn’t a real service dog. Which is actually discrimination. I actually live with multiple disabilities and it is always difficult when I am trying to go somewhere. It really sucks when they take advantage of this and just pretty much make it so that you can’t go after you even our honest with them about your situation and asking for help!!
They continued to discriminate against me and attempt to scream me about my dog. They made it very stressful just to try to book a simple night there. They claim they are high-end resort. Yeah, they have very rude stuff and are able to answer simple questions like when their availability is.
This “resort” publishes on their website that they have “pet friendly rooms,” and I had already spoke with somebody who said that they had a pet friendly room. He was very friendly the night before. Yet when calling this morning and making it a priority to reserve the last pet friendly room they had they said all of this nonsense about that they have all these policies about the pets. Basically, it is not have friendly and furthermore, it is not service dog friendly, either so they are actually discriminating against disabled people that would like to be able to go heal.
When attempting to contact their general manager to report the unprofessionalism of his stuff, it was very difficult to get them on the phone, long-haul times. There’s also reflects that the resort is not very high end. Because if it was actually a high-end resort, they would be much more accommodating and professional at all times. This is one thing that I wanted to speak to the general manager about is of course as a service dog owner. I am familiar with the policies in place and the laws in place regarding my situation. However, the overly presumptuous reservations staff continued to reiterate their policies to me, and put me into a spiral of corporate language, which made it very evident that it would be under relaxing experience to stay there, and a waste of time and money.
This is really not cool and it definitely does not make it higher and in fact, it makes it very low end. It must have been meant to be it’s not go to this place there must be something wrong with it and there must be something good about them not being accommodating because it was the first bad sign not to go there. I’m really excited to go book somewhere else at this point and thankful that I didn’t waste all my money just to go to a place that is overly priced with trashy rude...

My best friend and I recently spent a delightful day at Azure Palm Hot Springs Oasis Day Spa, and it was truly a rejuvenating experience that we won't soon forget. This hidden gem delivers an exceptional spa experience that rivals some of the more well-known destinations we've visited.
The Highlights
The mineral pools were simply amazing - the perfect temperature and incredibly relaxing. We could have spent hours soaking in these therapeutic waters. The customer service was outstanding throughout our entire visit, with staff members who were attentive, friendly, and genuinely committed to ensuring we had a wonderful experience. The grounds are absolutely beautiful - meticulously maintained and creating a serene atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The landscape design creates perfect pockets of tranquility where you can truly disconnect and unwind. Our dining experience at the Cafe exceeded expectations with delicious, fresh meals that were both satisfying and beautifully presented. The quality of food really elevated our entire spa day. The spa treatments were top-notch - I enjoyed a fantastic massage while my bestie had a wonderful facial. Both therapists were skilled professionals who tailored the treatments perfectly to our needs. The quality easily competes with larger, more established spas like Glen Ivy Hot Springs and the Spa at Séc-he.
Areas for Consideration
Location and Accessibility: The spa is about a 25-minute drive from Palm Springs proper, which isn't necessarily a drawback but is worth noting for planning purposes. The surrounding neighborhood can appear a bit rough around the edges, and we did notice some homeless individuals in the area as we departed. However, once you arrive and step through the doors, you're transported to a completely different world of luxury and tranquility.
Locker Room Amenities: While the locker rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed with plenty of seating and pristine showers, the toiletry offerings could be enhanced. Unlike some other high-end spas we've visited, there weren't amenities like hair styling products, brushes, combs, flat irons, toothbrushes, toothpaste, makeup removers, or mouthwash available. These finishing touches would make the transition from spa day to evening plans much more seamless. They do provide hair dryers, which is appreciated.
Final Thoughts
Despite these minor areas for improvement, Azure Palm Hot Springs Oasis Day Spa provides an exceptional experience that we absolutely loved. The combination of outstanding service, beautiful facilities, therapeutic mineral pools, and quality treatments makes this a destination we'll definitely return to.
We're excited to hear about the future expansion plans that Justin mentioned at checkout - it sounds like this already wonderful spa will become even more impressive!
Would we recommend it? Absolutely! Just plan for the drive and perhaps bring any specific hair or personal care items you might want for your post-spa preparations.
Will we be back? Without question - we're already planning...
Read moreThis place is supposed to be a resort but I've stayed at far better places then this. No restaurant, there's a cafe, more like snack bar that has a couple things and they close at like 2. No dinner either so plan on going out. I had to pay $5 for a cup of reg coffee in the morning. We checked in at like 2am and a lady in her pajamas came down after we called cause we couldn't get in, it says 24/7 front desk, that's a lie. If your not in by midnight then u get locked out basically. The hall way to our room was pitch dark, we had to use our phones to see where we were going. Nobody helped with bags up or down. They keep the whole place at 100 degrees, and whenever tried cooling our room down it has a lock on it so u can't go below a certain temp. We booked a room so we could have our massages in our room cause thats what they offered but when we booked our massages they said we couldn't cause we had 2 beds in there, a king and a queen but yet the room said it only sleeps 2 people! I didn't see any other options for any other room and I think we were the only ones on our entire floor! So no massages in our room. We booked our massages for 7pm the day after we got there but at 5:30 someone called us and said we had appts at 5 for massages, they wouldn't work with us at all! We payed over $300 for 2 20 min massages instead of a hr a piece!! They charged us no matter if we went or not and wouldn't even let us reschedule to have the a full hr we were paying for! The pool was by far the best part of the place. The water is bath water and feels so amazing. Theres a soaking tub in your room, is what they call it, It would of been a nice feature but it's a death trap! Its all concrete with polish, so its so slippery its like being on ice, not exaggerating, we went and bought a few tub mats so we didnt break our necks. The tub would of been nice if we could of gotten it to a normal temp. I love hot water but this tub only pours out very hot water, it has a nozzle for cold water but it comes out as a drip literally. We went and got ice to put in but couldn't put enough in to make it a acceptable temp. We tried both nights we stayed and still didn't really get to enjoy it, and because it's concrete it keeps the water temp and never cools down! The whole room is polished concrete, no carpet or rugs, just concrete! The shower had half a door so lots of water got out but I guess it doesn't matter to them with the concrete flooring. The door to the tiny bathroom sits right in front of u when using the restroom., so if your significant other opens the door its going to smack u right in the face, either that or leaving it open, the door will be in between your legs, either way is ridiculous! All in all we payed almost $1200 for 2 nights with 2 20 min massages. Not even close to being worth it! We haven't taken a vacation for 20 years and finally was able to, drove 8 hrs and we were very disappointed. We could of stayed in vegas for a fraction of the cost with way more amenities. Just beware if they have your credit card they will charge it for anything they want without...
