Iām conflicted on my rating of this place, so let me start by saying the food was incredible. The gyro, fries, garlic sauce, and chocolate bars were all fantastic. My lowered rating comes from the lack of care/attention when packaging to-go orders. My order was just tossed into a bag haphazardly which caused the garlic sauce to pop open and spill all over everything. The chocolate bars (2) were both put into the bag first, with the hot food container placed directly on top⦠which means they were completely melted. Mind you - these were $9 each (grub-hub pricing) so it was very disappointing that they were ruined. I did stick them in the fridge to harden the chocolate back up but they were still smashed / ruined. Again, the food and bars were all still fantastic so I would love to order again but the packaging needs some improvement for sure. The chocolate bars should have been placed in a bag alone and separate from the hot...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy coworker and I were excited to see this option pop up in the area. She had the beef wrap with a Greek salad and I had the falafel appetizer with a side of fries. The falafel was freshly made but lacking any flavor. Iām somewhat of a falafel connoisseur and these need more salt, fresh herbs and garlic. There was absolutely no taste at all. The fries, however, were perfectly seasoned and delicious. My coworker let me try a little of the beef from her wrap and we both agreed it was bland and needed some fresh lemon and salt/seasoning. Her salad was delicious and she said she would come back for that. For anyone who hasnāt tried this type of food and this being the only option in the area I highly urge the owners to pump up the flavor and represent for the culture! Sweet staff, offered free baklava on our way out so I must mention that as well and it was authentic but Iām assuming they get it made from a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'll start with the service, it was fine. The lady that took my order was polite, nothing crazy. As for the food, it was a mixed bag. The falafel was under seasoned and over cooked. Crazy crunchy and the flavor was just not there(over fried and almost burnt). The gyro plate was good all except the hummus, it had a very bizarre after taste and like the falafel it too was under seasoned. The meat was pretty good and the salad dressing was a hit as well. The rice was a nice compliment to the meat and dressing as it is not heavily seasoned and does a great job of helping the food come together. All in all I would say if I came back I would just get the gyro sandwich and skip the rest. Prices are reasonable as well, it's $7.99 for a sandwich and $11.99 for a plate so you get good value...
