Let me start this review by saying the man working today is amazing. He is polite, fast, and somehow doesn't even look tired. This man is working the lunch rush ALONE. I am certain he's got no time to even go to the bathroom. The door keeps dinging. The line gets longer. He gets through sandwiches as fast as he can, cleaning as he goes.
But can he step away to add soda to the machine? No. Can he clean the customer side of the counter? No. He can't even resupply till the customer asks for something currently out, to which he runs to the back and gets what's prepped.
This man has no backup. It's not the first time I've seen him stuck like this. This absolutely shameful behavior on the company's end. Are you so unwilling to hire a second overlapping employee?? I don't care who makes those decisions, and I hope sincerely this man gets manager wages. He's literally managing this place by himself. Regularly. Through lunch rushes.
Maybe instead of paying to invent more items to make into a "foot-long" to make sure you can staff your restaurants. I would have walked out on you if I was forced to work like that. Even if it's dead. Just for SAFETY reasons, you need at least 2 employees...
Shameful that this is your standard. And give that guy a raise. He's not even complaining, smiling for us and talking about how this job gives him something good to do, to keep him out of trouble. Pay him well, and make sure to thank him for putting up with 0 help all day every day.
It's certainly been going on far too long from my few visits to know something is off with how you're treating your employees. Overworked and underpaid is my guess. Make sure y'all don't make that mistake with this young man.
And get it together! Enough people just ordered enough sandwiches in the 30 min I ate to pay his wages at least. 8 people, all ordering at least one meal, most ordering multiple. I know there are other bills, but that's only in 30 min. For lunch, on a Saturday. I certainly hope you can...

On a breezy Sunday afternoon wearing my college Alumni attire, I entered this location that was surprisingly not busy. I initially ordered 2 foot-longs contemplating if I would need to order more food for other colleagues that I was planning to meet.
I ordered vegetables consisting of spinach, pickles, onions and green peppers. Simple Right?! I requested added spinach because clearly there was not enough on the bun, then there was literally 8 pickles on the foot-long sandwich when I was met with a harsh tone of opposition stating "you've reached your maximum vegetable limit"! How? After kindly requesting a few more pickles, the staff member became more hostile and contentious by sliding aggressively the first sandwich upon completion, and then slamming the second sandwich upon adding the same vegetables and mayo. Why???
I then recognized that her poor service and problematic behavior was much bigger than me! Therefore, I politely paid the charges, drove to Cedar Hill and purchased 4 more sandwiches from Firehouse Subs. Vindicated!
Sometimes you must let things go, move on and...
Read moreSo I came in to order 3 sandwiches for dinner for the family. Once I got to my mom's sandwich which was from the green menu as the 2 girls working called it.( which is just the Pro Series sandwiches selection ) I was told you have to get the ingredients on the menu for that sandwich. My mom did not want onions she wanted pickles instead. The 2 evening girls said you can't do that ( I was shocked what do you mean you can't put pickles on the sandwich. They said the manager Stephanie trained them like that. I called corporate and in fact you can put whatever you want on any sandwich it's company policy for any Subway. Stephanie get your staff under control with the bossy sandwich artist attitudes or Corporate may send you a visitor to policy check your location. The 2 girls working Monday April 3rd evening shift are pretty unpleasant and blaming the manager Stephanie for how they treat customers saying thats the way she wants it done. Veggies can go on any sandwich Stephanie. Hopefully you teach your staff company policy so I nor any other paying customer runs into this...
