DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! Isaiah at the drive thru window demeanor was not friendly or customer service like. First of all, he got both of my orders wrong due to felt like being rushed. When ordering he kept saying are you done and wouldn’t even let me properly order. Yes, I was on the passenger side but I was leaned over my driver’s window to my head being out. (Keep that in mind) before getting to the window to pay, I already had said I didn’t like his demeanor (not knowing if my order was right) as we get to the window Emily said the total order. I always go to smoothie king just not to this location so the total didn’t seem right to me as we get the receipt I simply told Emily I didn’t say what she was giving me, she was gladly to correct the order. I also informed Emily that I felt rushed by the person who was taking my order (Isaiah) as she told him he was giving me a side eye. As someone working in an establishment dealing with food service you should be more friendly and just take constructive criticism by a customer instead of side eyeing the customer. So of course, I got mad cause SIR YOU GOT MY ORDER WRONG, YOUR DEMEANOR WAS NOT CUSTOMER LIKE, AND YOU SHOULDNT SIDE EYE A CUSTOMER CAUSE OF YOUR MISTAKE! I can clearly see him talking shit, so I started as well. Mind you this all while Emily is correcting the order, with the drive thru window closed and Isaiah moves out of sight. Mind you, when the window was closed I was simply telling the person I was with how I felt about this whole thing. When Emily opens the drive thru window to give me my receipt, I hear Isaiah comments making cry baby noises. So I started again, saying you shouldn’t work if you don’t like to your job. Another lady, assuming the manager on duty comes to the window asking what is wrong. And I simply told her I felt rushed and he got the order wrong. She tried to say ordering from the passenger window it’s hard to hear and I get that. But I was hanging out the driver window, it wasn’t he couldn’t hear cause he said it back to me the size I said. It was his TONE! I’m not even sure she knew what was really the issue here nor wanted to find out. She just heard the commotion and stood behind her employee as she should. But m’am your employee should not be acting the way he was acting. If he wasn’t having a good day, he shouldn’t be on the mic. The whole point of this is HIS DEMEANOR and yet he was still going back and forth WITH A CUSTOMER. As a manager to another manager, you should’ve just apologized to on his demeanor and I would’ve apologized on my actions. But you didn’t, instead it was like you supported his demeanor and actions. Emily was the only employee who did the right thing. So shoutout to her! I only gave stars for the food because that’s the only thing that deserves it. As I love smoothie king. But everything else I wouldn’t have gave any stars if I had the option to not give any. Or even half a star.

After I called and reported them to Corporate, the manager "Sue," she called herself, kept lying by saying she was calling from Corporate when she called me back. I guess she didn't consider that these phones have caller ID now-a-days; it was Desoto Smoothie King's number. But this particular Smoothie King simply refuses to make my smoothie the way I request it to be made; all that is required to Honor my simple request, is Extra Ice being added to my smoothie to make it THICKER. Instead of obliging my request, on a previous occasion she said that it would break their blenders to add extra ice, and today she says that it is Corporate Policy to NOT add extra ICE. Not to mention, I have gotten one made from here before as requested, but this Manager, for some strange reason, is just wanting to be difficult. (I don't know why my THICKENING of the Smoothie, is a problem for her.) I spoke with someone from the Corporate Customer Service who informed me that this is just NOT the Truth. There is no rule about adding EXTRA ICE. So whoever the Manager is that called me today, pretending to be from Corporate and offering me a FAKE Name, Sue, FAKE Rules, and FAKE Apology you should be ashamed of yourself. The days of "the customer is always right" is a thing of the past. Or even "being sometimes right," or how about simply "getting what you pay for" just has no weight in today's businesses. Smoothie King has lost a DAILY customer over a small request, along with no integrity, lack of kindness, and failure to provide quality customer service. She also tried to tell me that they don't give employee names for the safety of the employees. Again, another LIE, because if I was writing a Positive Review, they would hurry up and provide names. All throughout various Reviews, you see the Names of employees. According to the receipt, Marilyne is the person who rudely took my order. But "Sue" says that it wasn't Marilyne. (Further proving my point that she was NOT calling from Corporate. Only someone physically at the store would have this knowledge.) If you ever go to this one, you will feel/see it more in the Drive-Thru than inside the store, but they are rude, not friendly, short with you, and very dismissive; it's as if they are MAD you came. I am not the one to pay for bad service or lack of service and keep spending my money there. They WIN!! I won't be back.

Read moreI eat smoothie King weekly sometimes twice a week because I have a medical condition that requires a special diet. This location manager customer service is horrible. It's obvious she's had zero training with how to deal with people or the pressure of a busy job. Instead of just taking my order the way I requested. She decides to try and go back and forth with me about my requests. Then she's facetious saying God bless you and have a good day in a condescending tone when I decided not to offer anything. Seriously! So I complete the complaint survey. Guess who calls me? Same person saying they are calling about my complaint. I was like are you the manager that just tried to argue with me about how I wanted my order? She lied and says no. So I say but you have the exact same voice. So she then says well the complaints come to me. So I'm like no wonder you were so rude. Smoothie King needs to change that policy. Anyway I'm like ma'am you still have a facetious tone with me and it started about peanut butter. My small amount may not be your small amount. Back and forth instead of just saying on man or I'll do my best. Seriously? I have ordered this exact smoothie the same way for years. This is the very first time anyone responded this way to me instead of just listening to how I requested it. This person should get some serious ethics training or get a job where they are not serving people. DeSoto stop spending your money at businesses that do not treat us properly.
