Batch Brewing Company — Restaurant in Detroit

The beer is great, food is ok even though I haven't been back to taste the new additions to the menu. After last Friday I may reconsider going to Batch again. Their hours on Google for closing that Friday was 1:00am. A friend and I walk in before midnight with an immediate greeting or rather rude greeting from one of Batch's employees. He came out from behind the bar to tell us that they were closed. When I had told him that it says their hours are listed as closing at 1am on Google. He made me take out my phone to prove the hours were listed as that. Then asked me to show it to another employee only to then be ignored. Neither employee said sorry or seemed to care at all about our inconvenience. It makes me wonder why a new establishment with a full house would have their closing hours at midnight on a Friday.

With everything said above I feel that Batch's staff is unfriendly and unwelcoming. This was not my first experience of their rude staff. My friends have also witnessed it and like I said I don't believe I will be back. It's a shame because I am a home brewer and I have respect for anyone that brews beer and any new brewery that pops up...

Can’t say enough good things about this place—absolutely awesome food and beer! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and fun. The craft beer selection is top-notch, with a great variety to suit all tastes. I tried a couple different brews and loved them both—clearly fresh, flavorful, and brewed with care.

The food was just as impressive. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. You can tell they put real effort into their menu, not just typical bar fare. Portions were generous, and the presentation was great too.

One of the highlights was the large outdoor area. It’s spacious and comfortable, with plenty of seating and a great vibe—perfect for hanging out with friends or enjoying a night out. To top it off, they had live music, which added so much energy to the experience without being too loud or overwhelming.

This spot really checks all the boxes: excellent food, quality beer, great service, and a fun environment. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s a must try location. I’ll definitely be back again soon—might just become one of my regular...

My first time at Batch Brewery was my LAST time! The space is small and the people were not friendly. Crowded and cramped, as my wife and I sat at the table I noticed a server/waitress taking some orders or catering to other people at the table. She looked through me as she never spoke to us at all. Someone else had to tell me to order food and drink at the bar for faster service. I approached the bar to place my order and the guy taking my order was somewhat friendly, I started a tab. The food was plain tasting and under seasoned. The beers were sub par and to top it all off My credit card Info was stolen and used to pay someone’s AT&T bill. The charge came at 7am the next morning! I don’t have any dealings with AT&T and by that card being pretty much new I have only handed it over 1 time since I received it....and it was when I started a tab at this Brewery! I have alerted my friends and now I will warn you that if you must come to this...
