THEY JUST GOT ME FOR $250 WITH THEIR "PARKING"/TOWING SCAM!!!!!

The towing thief kept telling me how he was doing me a favor. If he drove away it would have been over $500 at the lot. So instead he damaged my rear differential and axle pulling my truck sideways in order to get it "hooked up" (partially physically onto the truck) to keep you from leaving. That also begins the whole "legal" scam process. Chris kept saying how it's not him it's his company and he felt bad screwing so many people! Chris, calling it your job don't make it right!

I was parked in a marked spot and made sure I wasn't overhanging into the "restricted" area. They make more from the towing company than your dues!! Read the other reviews. Don't go to this location if you like your money and your car because you won't have both if you come here!!!!!!!

My guess is they have a video feed and a truck around the corner because I wasn't even there for 10 minutes. Plus I was in a spot that was clearly marked as a spot. I didn't overhang any line at all. I was perfectly centered and behind the marked off area. Clear on all three sides that were marked!!!!

I keep seeing responses from Planet saying they don't run the surrounding parking lots. The reviews all concern YOUR tiny lot! It's right outside your door. Please quit lying in your responses! Also saw one response say park on side street for free. They'll get your car towed there too!!!! Only difference is Planet won't get a portion of the $$$. They'd rather have you in their lot.

I am writing to formally request a full refund for a charge that was recently withdrawn from my account, despite my membership being cancelled today, May 19, 2025.

Earlier today, I cancelled my Planet Fitness membership and received written confirmation that the cancellation was successfully processed. The confirmation also stated that I would continue to have access through June 16, 2025. Given this, I was surprised to see that a charge was still taken from my account after the cancellation was completed and confirmed.

I would like a clear explanation as to why this charge was processed, and I respectfully request that the full amount be refunded to me immediately. This transaction appears to be in error, and I am seeking swift resolution.

Please also have a representative reach out to me directly to resolve this issue. I have faced difficulty getting support so far, and I need a clear and timely response. I have attached a copy of the cancellation confirmation email for your reference.

Please note that my current review rating reflects the frustration and inconvenience caused by being charged after canceling my subscription, along with the challenges I’ve faced trying to get assistance.

I would NOT recommend this Planet Fitness location. The parking lot is small. Even when the crowd meter shows it's not busy, the lot is always full. My car got towed around 7pm on Thursday, 7/3. Due to the holidays, I couldn't get my car out of the impound until Monday! I had to pay a total of $755! The fees for the first day totaled to $555!! Plus $50 per day (5 days 🙄🤦‍♀️). I was even more upset when I found out the tow truck was only 5 minutes away from the gym 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. It's not worth the hassle of looking for a parking lot nor getting your car towed.
