MGM Casino — Attraction in Detroit

Well I just feel the need to warn others about this places business practices. I live in the state of Maine and I think you should know what your getting into with this business. I've never actually got to gamble with them not once but it's definitely costing me. I used my credit card to place the deposit that was required for using the MGM app thought I'd enjoy myself with the hard earned money that I worked for. But after taking my large deposit from my credit card I was informed that I can't use a card in my home state of Maine. So what should have been an honest mistake turned into a deliberate theft of my money. 5 months of punishment and lies. Email after email and phone call after phone call the same result were telling you one thing but the truth is we're stealing the money that you've worked so hard for. And I guess it's because that's how they treat there costumers. Plain and simple if you're not spending a lot ( HIGH ROLLER) well you just don't matter to us. Thanks for the free gift and sorry we took the money before we could steal a larger amount. Sad to take free money from the working class people who never even got to place a single bet. Best of luck with this type of business make sure you have enough money to be someone they consider important. If not then expect to loose before you even do anything with this company. I was visiting from Florida where we have the Hard Rock Casino Guitar and I've been to Las Vegas. The only thing great about this place is there's so many slots to choose from, as far as the eye can see, literally. Besides that, the main areas are no smoking (vaping should be allowed imo). The place compared to the Hard Rock's Wow and Awe factor. Missing. Nothing glamorous about it. The energy is dead there, not like Las Vegas. The other thing is on Black Jack, you're forced to play the side bet, I think that's absolutely ridiculous and kind of a scam. Just a way to make more money. Also staff is not nice at all. First the ATM with my PIN code would only print a ticket that you had to take to the cashier cage. Was charged an extra $20 for this “convenience”. Then stood in line for 45 mins because they only had 2 cashiers working, and 1 of them was having to cater to the vip’s that could skip the line. Then the cashier asked for my DL, debit card, Players card & the receipt from ATM that I had to use my PIN number to get. Finally 10 minutes later after being questioned like I was trying to steal my own money, I finally received my $300. Was a complete waste of my time .
