Captain Jay's Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Detroit

If I could give negative stars I would. I spent more than 2 hours to get a simple order of 30 wing dings and a large family fry for them to still get it wrong upon my exit & decline a refund. The workers were rude combative and everything but customer-friendly minus the one heavy set woman with blond hair. I exchanged my order three times while my kids and I starved trying to be patient. First we were given soggy fries with old chicken under 30, Next we were given the same old chicken with fresh mixed in with bones and fries, Then we were give a fresh 20 piece & old fries not 30. The woman that was trying to help promised us 50 pieces to help rectify the situation and we were yet waiting again. When she brought us our order she said that we were denied do to a chicken shortage and offered us a soda instead. I thanked her for her assistance and trying to help all on her own in a store for the people and told her it wasn't her fault and left, just to get home to still have a 20 piece and old nasty fries and be giving attitude bye The Mail Manager D something on staff. I'm completely disgusted and will never go there again and neither will any of my family members that always eat there. But Ms Lady should definitely be in management and in the kitchen. She was trying while everyone else was snobby rude and disrespectful and couldn't even count....

My wife and I stood in line for 3hr after calling and placing our order almost 45min prior to picking it up come to find out upon arrival they don't cook your food until you pay for it (okay that's understandable) however 3 persons came in with orders that was beyond what my wife and ordered and was treated like royalty they paid the same was we did but got food way before us. The last straw was when the cook came from the back and gave our chicken to someone else that was there not even 6min!! At this point my wife is hotter than fish grease when asked why they switched tickets and lied to our faces we left after paying $140.. I don't not recommend this place the staff is not professional no body had on hair nets nor gloves and it was animals inside the store YES PPL DOGS WAS IN THIS BUILDING needless to say we will no longer be going eating at caption J's on the west side of Detroit!! Disgraceful staff Oh and get this!! They all went on break at the same time!!! Its time to clean house...

9-5-2019 I found hairs that look like weave on my chicken skin. I bought 2 boxes of 5.99 leg and thigh. I called the store. Jennifer the manager said she was going to replace both boxes of chicken and she was going to give me a bottle of soda for what happened. Jennifer said just come up here today or tomorrow and we will remake it for you................I went back up there today 9-6-2019 and brought what she said to bring back. She only gave me only 10 when they said they was going to replace all plus 1 soda for what had happened. And Jennifer was VERY RUDE to me. She didn't have to be so mean to me like that. That was so rude for her to be so mean to me and I never had an issue there. They was always so nice to me but until the manager JENNIFER WAS RUDE AS EVER. I DONT EVEN WHAT TO GIVE THAT CHICKEN TO MY KIDS BECAUSE SHE WAS SO RUDE TO ME ABOUT WHAT THEY DID WRONG ABOUT HAVING HAIR IN...
