Omega Coney Island — Restaurant in Detroit

For some reason, I don't no why, but everytime I ordered a salad from here, me or other family members...We always get sick...I asked the waitress/cashier was everything in the salad fresh..she assured me yes..but i don't think so,because this is the second time, we all threw up after eating that salad.. my stomach was cramping all night..until my husband gave me some baking soda&water in a tall glass..after i drunk the whole glass with in 30min i started feeling better...but no more all the meats salad(it come with ham, turkey, salami,three meats&eggs, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions two different cheeses...Never will I order a BIG SALAD from...

Went in today two coneys order chili fries Frank also he called me stupid because he was cheating me Lord knows gave me a old receipt from last week with 9/18 on it, it's my credit card numbers but today is not the 18th it's the 25th, he didn't bring the two coneys to my table or my receipt for the 25th this is last week I told him you gave me this receipt he said he didn't I said where's my receipt for the 25th two coneys order chili fries I don't know what he's doing he's doing something wrong you also talk to me crazy I will be going back tomorrow with this receipt with the 18th on it we'll see what happens...

Omega is a dependable local spot that stays faithful to what it means to be a Coney Island in the city. In other words, there's no attempt to be anything other than what it is. It's not trying to focus on options for gluten free, fat free, low calorie, vegan or anything but good ole fashioned greasy spoon goodness. Sure you can get a tasty chicken greek salad here, but if you're choosing it for any other reason than having that coney island craving it wouldn't make much...
