Gluten Free Review: I love chic fil a, and they are always great at accommodating gluten free, I usually get the grilled nuggets with fries. I’m giving 2 stars because this is the WORST location. I have had bad ordering experiences twice in a row. The first time, I waited over 20 minutes for food. By the time I got my my car, I realized that the food was rung up as an entree and not a meal so I did not get my fries. I was running late to get back to work, so I did not bother going in to correct the mistake & figured it was a one time thing.
The next time, I made SURE to specify meal, to avoid that situation again. I asked the cashier to ring it up as a meal. When I got to my car I realized again that the fries were not in there, because it was rung up incorrectly as an entree. I went back into the location and instead of correcting the mistake they made, they had me wait in line to order more fries & wait again to pick the food up. My chicken was cold by the time I got to eat and the overall experience ran about 30 minutes to get fast food.
Again, I love chic fil a, but I will never dine at this location again due to poor process & customer service.

Read moreIt can be very discouraging to want something only to get it and be disappointed in the outcome. Well that didn't happen at this Chick-fil-A location and the DMC area near Downtown Detroit. The customer service at this location is phenomenal. I've never been to a fast food restaurant in the state of Michigan where I receive service this good. Perhaps the team at Chick-fil-A can can train other fast food restaurants in the area on providing excellent customer service. From the time you walk in the door until the time you walk out whether you dine-in or carry-out the staff is friendly and helpful, and needless to say the food is excellent just as the Chick-fil-A brand always is. I am a customer service professional with leadership and training experience so I know what to look for; it is actually second nature to me. I don't think I've ever given five stars to a fast food establishment because they just don't deserve it. Read moreMy son was hospitalized in children’s hospital. The person at the front counter gave me the wrong food. I walked all the way back from children’s hospital. I told the shift manager my order was wrong. She told me they would charge me extra because the person made a mistake on my order and didn’t place my order the way I asked him to. The shift manager got mad and called another manager on the phone and walked away. I asked what was the problem. She said her manager instructed her to fix my order just one time as a Courtesy. The General manager just so happened to be in the store at the time. I think she told me her name was Toya. She told me they will not make my food over and would charge me extra if they had to fix my food. I asked if that’s the case could I just get my money back and leave, she told me that they don’t give out refunds. I couldn’t get my money back with the nastiest attitude ever.
