I came here on a Saturday afternoon with my family after a morning of kayaking in the Detroit canals. We showed up at 1pm and was told it would be a 20-30 minute wait. We got sat around 1:20pm. Once sat, we had our drink order taken at around 1:30pm and we told that waitress we had our food order ready as well. She said she was only taking drink orders. About 10 minutes later our food order is taken. Around 2:10pm, which is 30 minutes after our food order was placed, we ask the waitress when we should expect our food be done because we had somewhere to be at 3:30pm. She said, another 20 minutes. We then changed our order to carry out. At about 2:40pm, we were standing up to leave as we couldn’t wait any longer. Just in time, the waitress walks out of the kitchen with our carry out bags.
It took over 1 hour for the food to be made, it was 4 sandwhiches and two sides of fries. The food was great, but not worth what would’ve been 2+ hours sitting in a deli restaurant watching Elon Musk talk about who knows what on Fox News.
Yes, this place is viral now from tiktok, but that doesn’t mean it can operate at whatever standard they want and still keep business. Louie’s around the corner is a much better option for those that appreciate good service...

The menu offers a wide array of breakfast options, catering to various tastes. I opted for the classic breakfast special, which was both hearty and flavorful. To my pleasant surprise, beef bacon was available as an alternative to traditional pork bacon—a thoughtful inclusion for those seeking different options.
The atmosphere at Frank's is warm and inviting, with ample seating in both the front and back dining areas, ensuring a comfortable experience even during busy times. The staff was attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience.
A standout feature of Frank's Deli & Grill is their use of Wigley's famous corned beef, a Detroit staple known for its exceptional quality. This commitment to local, high-quality ingredients truly sets them apart.
