Grandy's Coney Island — Restaurant in Detroit

Never left a review in my life.. Food was unacceptable. Haven't had Coney Island in a while. Bragged about it to my wife on how good it is, (well how it used to be) before I moved out of state. We're back in the city and couldn't wait for her to try. Big mistake for this location. Now I can't recommend anymore restaurants and I might get divorced. Ordered 3 coney dog specials with chili and cheese on them and a shrimp basket. Came up to just about $25.00. Some of the hamburger on our chili cheese dogs was pink and under-cooked. No cheese was added. The shrimp was over-cooked and for sure frozen shrimp that they might have gotten from Walmart. Thanks grandys. Never again. I used to tip the cooks if the food was good. This post is for the perfect customer service waitress I have ever seen at any Conley Island. This review does not have anything to do with Race, age or gender. Jen...... Her customer service is the best! From when I called in to place, to her repeating my order, to when she asked if I wanted a receipt. Not one time she called me baby, sweetie, honey or boo. She did not have on eye lashes making eyes look close and make her blink a lot. Her fingers nails were normal length, for working with food. Her clothes were properly fit. I didn't have to see a jiggling bootie when she turned around. Jen is there in the morning try to go when she is there. A dress code is needed for most of the waitress. Service was pathetic, it was crowded, so initially i tried to give them a pass but I was charged and didn't receive the items I asked for. I was ignored when trying to get simple things like ranch and cheese by 2 female employees working the front, as well as by the cook when I asked him for the same thing. Multiple people were left upset and frustrated, including myself. People were even commenting saying, all he is asking for is ranch and cheese, he should have had it a long time ago.
