McDonald's — Restaurant in Detroit

Pulled up to the speaker and the worker was immediately rude as hell. I told her I had a code and then when I said my code I had to repeat it 3-4 times and she apparently still didn’t get it. 🤣 i told her I wanted two mcchickens and the code was for a free medium fry. I saw on the screen she had a medium Diet Coke instead so I repeated my order to her and she cut me off and shooed me away from the speaker saying that she got it all. I pulled to the window and handed her my card to which she proceeded to swipe it upside down 3 times before getting help. I got my receipt and pulled to the next window, while there I was greeted with a tiny bad which obviously did not have two mcchickens and a medium fry. I asked the guy at the window if everything was in there and he said I didn’t order a fry. I told him naw he better go get the girl that took my order, so he screamed at her to hurry up because the line was being held up. She then came to the window to tell me that my code was expired. I know damn well she didn’t use the code because the phone said that the fries were still redeemable. I then asked for the manager, she came over and told the guy at the window to just give me the fries. THOSE WERE THE WORST FRIES I HAVE EVER EATEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. HARD, STALE AND OLD. 4/7/2021 Update — Visited this location again for a family member. As typically this location was out of straws and milkshakes (at 4pm so I am surprised). The cashier had great customer service compared to everyone else at this location, name on the receipt says ‘Sidel’, if this was her name she was amazing. The lady at the window was a different story, young slim girl, not the best customer service. Too many items in the bag, 2 sandwiches, 1 Chicken McNuggets, Sauce, 2 Medium Fries, it was difficult to hold the bag without it falling, top wasn’t able to be closed. 4 Piece McNuggets were also missing from my bag. (Rating from this visit: 1/5) — Closest McDonald’s to my house. Let me tell you I would rather go to a McDonald’s on the moon than to go to this location. At least my food from the moon might be semi fresh, semi warm, and staffed by people who have semi customer service skills. This place unfortunately doesn’t have any of that. “This place gets my order correct 100% of the time!” - No One Ever.

Honestly, I’ve been to this location 10+ times and I don’t think they ever have gotten my order right. I’m asking for items straight off the menu. Did your order grilled chicken wraps? Well they’ll give you crispy. Want a chicken sandwich? They’ll give you a burger. You paid extra so you could have some sauce packets with your order? They will forget. Every. Time.

Whoever is the manager at this location should be fired, tarred, and feathered. Every time my order is messed up, they fight amongst themselves about whose fault it was. When will the manager step in and take responsibility and address the most basic operations at this location? Is it too much to ask that you put the minimal amount of effort into your job?

This location is an abomination. This location is an insult to all other McDonalds. It keeps me up at night knowing this place exists. I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy.
