Papa's Pizza — Restaurant in Detroit

I have been ordering from this location for over 10 years. I typically order on line and I normally tip the delivery drivers. On 1/16/2025 I ordered a chicken Mediterranean pizza and added steak with the garlic and parm crust with butter and parm on the entire pie. That is an almost $40 pizza... I didn't do delivery this time, I had my husband pick it up but I PAID online. Why when he gets there to pick up my pizza they're charging him an additional $1.38 processing fee??? Now I have been ordering from them for YEARS and NEVER heard of this. So I call and ask to speak to the manager and SHE says to me that they started that a month and a half ago. How sway, I just ordered the same pizza last week and the week before and this was never the case. It's not stated anywhere on their web site nor do they explain this when you order over the phone. So as much as I like their pizza, after all this time I think they lost me as a customer. I really feel like they are steeling. That $1.38 add up if you're doing that to everybody that orders and pay with a card, even though it's NOT stated on the website or communicated over the phone. So people pay attention and be careful when ordering from there and using a card to pay. As if times aren't hard enough you have companies and people trying to still get MORE even after you've spent good money with...

I stopped into this store to grab a pizza “real quick” .. I went inside and placed an order to go . After waiting about 15 mins — the amount of time she said it would be ready .. I grabbed my pizza and I went home ! I opened the box and what I saw wasn’t the pizza I ordered— I was to tired to check my order it was a long work day lol I called back spoke with the Manager Tiana and she asked all the right questions and told me everything on their end was correct but I just assured her she was wrong, they messed up my order and she said if you bring it back we’ll remake it when you get here & before I left I looked at the pizza again and she was right , the pizza was correct and I was wrong ; I called her back so fast to apologize! Nobody was yelling nobody was being smart nobody had an attitude. My point is the manager knew she was right & me teller her she’s wrong could’ve went a different way but she maintained her cool kinda laughed it off and went about out night. I just moved to Detroit, it’s a steeple for my partner ! New customer will be returning .. thank you...

First time ordering from Papa's Pizza & it won't be the last. I called ahead of time to ask prices/questions. I spoke with the most patient, respectful, courteous, & kind employee by the name of CORNELIUS. Shortly afterwards I placed my order & he remembered me. I ORDERED THE WORKS PIZZA, SAUSAGE & HAMBURGER PIZZA, & A WHOLE SLAB RIB DINNER. WOW......BEST FOOD EVER. I was given a total of the order & had delivered promptly, before time, & very 🔥 hot!!!!!! Delivery Driver was very nice, kind, & very courteous.....THE BEST EVER. I had to call CORNELIUS back & let him know that everything was so good, service & delivery outstanding. CORNELIUS......THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR GIVING THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. YOU ARE A GREAT ASSET TO PAPA'S PIZZA/COMPANY. THEY DEFINITELY HAVE AN OUTSTANDING EMPLOYEE REPRESENTING THEM.
