So, just to be candid, I eat here for free about twice a month or so. I do it because the food is decent, and for free, its objectively good food. The reason why I eat for free is because I order food for pickup through an app, and they mark it "ready for pickup" to juke the stats on their order processing metrics to stay in their green zones or whatever. Then I go down there and literally sit in the lobby for about 30 minutes until im irritated enough to complain to Doordash about my pickup orders not being ready for pickup. Why would you mark food ready to pick up that isn't? It's because they're being managed by the stats, and not by the service, so they choose to juke their stats because its easier than upping the service. And thats quite fine for me, Im not mad at all. I dont need a waitress to refill my soda if I am eating for free. This spot isnt even that bad, the staff is as friendly as can be expected, pretty pleasant group of people otherwise. They just never have my order ready or even started when they mark it ready for pickup. customer service cant argue about timestamped and geolocated photos proving im standing in the lobby doing my complaining.
But hey, at least those preparation turnaround times stay in the green zone, and I guess maybe the store manager gets a bonus for that. So, everyone is winning here, why rock the boat? I cant call it stellar, but I honestly cant call it terrible either. It is completely neutral service. So I rate it 3.
Anyway, I suppose I'll keep eating here for free until they start using some other method to ensure that my foods ready as promised and I am forced to pay for it. I will probably be sad the day that happens but it has been a pretty nice go of things...
Read moreI ordered on the Popeyes app and during my check out I selected drive-thru as my pickup option since I would not be able to get out of the car. I wait in the Drive-Thru along with the other customers. I get to the speaker and I'm told at the drive-thru speaker that I have to come in to pick up my order. I let the person know that I am unable to come inside. I am then told that I have to come inside there are no other options for me besides for coming inside or not getting my food. I asked how do I request a refund and I'm told that I have to do that on the app. At first they seemed to think that I was a delivery person for doordash or GrubHub, I politely let them know that I was not and that I ordered on the Popeyes app and that pick up through drive-thru was an option that I was given that worked for me. Another gentleman got on the speaker to speak with me and at first he was just aggressive then he yelled at me reiterating that I needed to come inside to pick up ANY online order NO MATTER WHAT APPLICATION WAS USED. He let me know that since he has been there, online orders were fulfilled inside and he was not going to hold up the drive-thru fulfilling online orders. Disappointing customer service situation especially since there were no signs posted around the building, on the drive thru speaker, or anywhere else stating that online orders had to be picked up inside. There was nothing in the Popeyes app that stated online orders needed to be picked up inside for this location either. I could not get out of my car that is why I selected drive thru for pick up. So I was left there with no food, no immediate refund and now I'm waiting to hear back...
Read moreThis place is horrible and should be shut down. The owner of this place should be ashamed of himself. I sat in the drive through for well over 1 hours with only four cars ahead of me. The girl didn't have change for a 20 mins you. So she stated she would have to keep my 76 cent. For the 24 cent I owed, instead of just giving me $1 back and then eating the 24 cent lost since they had no change. I then rummaged and found a quarter. Ask for a ranch and she said no. Worker outside smoking a blunt right at the door, another worker pulled up fast and loud through the drive through cars and parked recklessly. 4 or 5 just stood out laughing and joking for a good 10 minutes while people are waiting 45 mins to 1 hour just to still not have there food. I don't want nobody smoking a blunt I'm plain site then going to make my food. Cashier did not care. Was rude, ignorant, nasty and had no problem solving skills. Do yourself a favor and never go here. This was the worse restaurant if you can even call it that, that I have EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE. Not the worst Popeyes, THE WORST RESTAURANT EVER IN MY LIFE and I ain't even being funny. I'm literally scared to eat the food. I had to force myself to stay calm with the attitude, rudeness and lack of care that was displayed. I mean. Just horrible in every way.
