Beware: this is a review contributed by a lifelong lover the NY Giants, Knicks and thin crust NYC-style pizza. That said, Sicily's served up one of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life. And given that I might have actually been a pepperoni pie in my past life, that's saying something. Personally, there's no reason to order the round pies here because the standout is the square. Everything about it screams unique and delicious. The pies come out hot and fresh. They're thick, but not too thick. The crust crunches with just enough sauce, just enough cheese, and just enough toppings. There's also plenty of seating, as the restaurant is spacious. The staff go out of their way to be nice, welcoming and helpful. And the prices are reasonable for the quality you are guaranteed to receive. If you're in Detroit, go here, order the square (highly recommend the pepperoni square if you eat pork), and thank me later!

Five Star!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had heard about Sicily's, and was following them on Instagram. I finally got a chance to go visit. Super friendly staff here that enjoy what they're doing. I picked up "The Sicily" a large specialty pizza. This smell was so intoxicating as I drove it home. First bite was super incredible, delicious toppings, homemade meatball, perfectly brown cheese, very fresh red onion and green pepper. Amazing bite after bite and then I reached the crust... 🤯Let me tell you, making a sourdough fermented style crust is such a difference! I'm usually a little picky about my crust, and it has to be good for me to want to eat it. The flavor was phenomenal and it had such a light airy tenderness in the middle, plus the perfect fire roasted char on the outside to make it perfectly chewy. Don't walk, run to Sicily's 10/10 recommend!

My husband found a review of this place and we decided to try it! This place has been there for 25yrs and this is our first time trying it. Do yourselves a favor and go! When you pull up to the restaurant you'd never expect the inviting space that's waiting for you. You order at the counter then seat yourself. The girl at the counter was so sweet and helpful. We had the Margherita and the deep dish pizzas. We had the caprese and Greek salads. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. Pizza was light and airy and tasty! Owner was so nice. He brought us our food and came to check on us. We will definitely be going back. There's a parking lot so plenty of space to park. They also have seating outside.

Pizza: stand-out dough and texture- the quality of the cheeses and toppings in general-excellent.. Pizza always passes the fold or flop test. Most important-- has alil Char and Center! Of crust is always crisp!! Without! Having to order it well-done; where most hipster places nearby NEVER get it right. The Wisconsin 5 cheese or benchmark Margherita(1st pic) are my absolute fav and just had the chicken parm dinner! Absolutely love. Id ask for a side of extra sauce.. Chicken parm sub or italian sub(i get double meat n extra sauce on the side) Excellent as well!

Truly amazing! Easy to park and order. Plenty of seating. Ladies at the front were very courteous and friendly. The pizza was beyond delicious. Super crunchy crust, very light and fluffy. The traditional round pizza rivals New York style pizza. The quality of the sauce and cheese is great. Garlic bread and ranch is such a great combo. Chili oil, Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes at each table. This place is a 10/10 without question. If you haven't tried it you need to try to experience what an amazing place this is. Keep up the fantastic work!

We went to this place in search of the famous square pizza from Detroit. We found it here and it was amazing good. Thiers menu has a a good selection of options so there will be something for everyone. They use sourdough for the pizza base. It was my first time having this and I think it's my preference now for pizza. It was thick but airy. Please be warned, 1 small square pizza is enough for 2 people. The prices are a bit higher than I expected but the food made it worth it. The staff was very friendly. I definitely recommend this place.
