Ranchero’s Taqueria in Dickinson, Tx is a great spot of Mexican Food. Nothing fancy, very casual. Great food and service! It’s Teltschik Approved! #goodfood #eatlocal #restaurantreview #mexicanfood #food

Rancho’s Taqueria in Dickinson was so good last week and we had to try it again! I had the rranchero plate. This dish was full of flavor and now my official GO TO on the menu. The peppers, onions and tomatoes are so fresh and the sauce on the beef was just WOW! The salsas are spicy but packed with flavor. Try local! Good food! #restaurantreview #fyp #eatlocal #mexicanfood #goodfood

I can still taste this picture. The #6 green chicken enchiladas (with fajita chicken) was a sensory treat for my tongue. The fajita chicken was cooked perfectly and sliced thin and long, just enough for me to double it over and dip it into the green sauce. The green Chile sauce tasted fresh, and for some reason the sour cream tastes incredible when served with any dish in this restaurant. Mixing the rice into the overflow sauce was deeeee-licious! (The fork is for scale- this plate is HUGE.) Now let me talk about the chips and salsa they serve you first. Some places serve greasy chips I don’t want to eat but this place has thicker chips that are not at all greasy. The chip grips the green salsa (in the white bottle) and delivers it to my mouth for a spice experience unparalleled by other green sauces. It’s HOT. It burns, but burns so clean. I don’t know what’s in the red bottle but it’s an orange sauce I tasted once and didn’t taste again. Can’t speak for that experience. I’m not a fan of the salsa in the bowl but the taste is fresh. Not pictured: Tamarindo, Jamaica, horchata drinks I’ve had there. Yum yum. It’s clean but quiet enough for me to sit and enjoy watching a show with AirPods without the sound having to be turned up super loud. The wait staff is few but very attentive, checking in me multiple times during the meal. Overall, go and enjoy something on the menu. Everything I’ve had is good. Updated 6/10/25 I forgot to take pictures once, but I did take a pic of the giant torta I was served for $8! It was delicious! (Plastic spoon for scale) The bread was soft and fluffy, and the chicken is delicious all the time. I don’t know what they do to the chicken breast but it is delicious! I rate this place 6 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pictures updated continuously as I eat here. Sometimes I don’t take pictures because the delicious smells of my arriving food erase that task from my memory. 😉

Been coming to Rancheros on and off since they opened. Food is made to order and is mostly good. My biggest issue is the price. When you go through the drive through the prices are all blocked off. There have been a couple times I felt I was overcharged but without knowing prices it’s hard to tell. Well I today I was finally convinced. My husband went in and ordered 2 burritos with potatoes, beans, egg, cheese, and chorizo. One taco the same way. 2 aguas Fresca and the total was $42. Well I know the drinks are $4.50 each x 2 so that’s $9. When asked why so much she said you got chorizo so it’s an extra charge. She said the burritos are 8.99 plus $2 up charge per burrito. That means they charged $11 for a single taco. We took the chorizo off for a total of $34.99. So doing her math that means they charged $8 for a single taco (potato, beans, egg, cheese) but a burrito is 8.99 Day before we went for breakfast however ordered only a single burrito but WITH chorizo (potato, egg, cheese, bean and chorizo) and single taco the same way 2 aguas frescas for a total of $30.80. So 4.50x2=9 plus 10.99 means it’s should been $19.99 and leaves a spread of $10.81 for the single taco.

Like I said, this has happened several times before, but we’ve never gone back to back so trying to recall from my memory what I’ve ordered is hard. I hate people that scam and try to charge based off of what they think you will pay and sneak in those little extra fees. I would just be cautious and make sure you ask prices while ordering in the drive through because apparently it’s a fluctuating thing.

Otherwise the food is good, the pico de gallo salsa is fresh. The gorditas, tampenqueno, and street taco are good. If you go in the morning inside they will charge you for chips and salsa per refill which I do not like. Agua frescas are good...

I came yesterday with my date and the first server was so nice she acknowledged the both of us as it should be very sweet lady no problems, however the Second Lady she was very stuck up to me and she didn't even say your welcome when I said thank you when she gave me the to go box, but yet she gave my date his drink first and fast ... I highly don't recommend this lady at All she is very stuck up to the ladies but with the males she smiles and flirts with every man she can talk to and when we were leaving my date asked if he can pay here or at the register and she said" it's fine i can take it here my love " I mean I was pretty shocked and mind you the whole conversation she was acknowledging my date and ignored me completely but when i heard that I was shocked and it was out of the blue I really didn't caught that as I should have but then she realized I was there and she quieted it down and while giving my date his change she purposely placed her hand on my date's a hand like wanting my date to hold her hand while placing it and my boyfriend placed his hand down so she can stop that, she continued until she gave up ...but the best of all is that my bovfriend left a tip for that terrible service lady but it's even better that I TOOK the tip because people like that don't deserve a tip and honestly she should get fired I don't know her name but she has a stuck up face and makes ugly faces for no reason and she has black hair and a bun kind of tall and .. honestly if she wants to flirt with guys she can work at the club with all the single guys there ..not with my date and was rude to me making ugly faces to me has no respect to anybody and not even herself sooo hopefully she can get fired.

Thank you for reading my review and hopefully next time you can change your mind and be more aware on who to...
