Legends Saloon — Restaurant in Dickson City

Here on a Thursday night at 6 for a nice dinner! This Saloon is fantastic! A very comfortable rustic atmosphere surrounded by what seemed to be to me some of the friendliest people in the area. The waitress was comfortably both very respectful, professional and friendly at the same time. After settling down to a very tasty, and well presented meal "cooked to perfection I might add" we chose to have a couple of drinks, while there, musicians started setting up equipment and soon they started the entertainment, and we were impressed by the quality of music that we were fortunate to be experiencing. Turns out it was Legends open mic night and threw the next couple of hours the musicians rotated on stage and brought what at least for us and apparently the rest of the clientele was a very enjoyable evening!! After traveling 30 some miles to check out what some friends had said about Legends Saloon, I must say that we will definitely be coming back for a repeat and more than likely it will be on a Thursday! I lived above the restaurant for a couple months. I’ll tell ya the food was good not great. Mostly frozen stuff when i asked. But some fresh. A good mix. The ladies that work there very kind and nice ladies! Sweethearts!

If you live upstairs: You can’t Shower, do laundry, run the dish washer, wash dishes Thursday-Monday. We would get a text saying: “The water pump is screaming!!! The restaurant has no hot water”. We were only allowed to use the water on Tuesdays-Wednesdays. If you are okay with living like that then go for it.

Another text saying we couldn’t crack a window when using the bathroom or showering to let the steam out or smell. We were called “scumbags” for that. We let to much heat out.

The second a third Roomate was added the rent went up (Go figure).

The upstairs has a mouse we had to get rid of…. Then it came back. We bought the traps for the place and replaced the front door handles with our own money when they broke.

We went to Legends on a Monday evening. We sat ourselves on the deck. We waited 15 minutes for service but no one came out. We noticed that other patrons were going inside and coming out with their own beverages. When I went in to find out what was happening I found that the bar was filled to capacity and so was the inside dining area. There was only one bartender/waitress and one person/cook in the kitchen. They were trying to take care of over 50 people. We realized any food order we made would take at least an hour. Legends was severely understaffed. This is no way to run a restaurant/bar.
