Smiler's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Dickson City

Stopped by while traveling with my family (my husband and 3 teens). We choose this place at random and we were not disappointed. At first glance it looks like your typical neighborhood bar and atmosphere is exactly that. Aside from dim lighting, jukebox, and pool table, the rest of the experience was more good restaurant quality. We were greeted and seated immediately. Menu options were good. A little bit of everything. Appetizers were excellent (got a sampler and nachos). Everyone was happy with entrees (not a single complaint from anyone) and none of us were able to finish more than half due to such large portions (boxes to go for all). Glad I found this place. Cozy atmosphere without being too overwhelming or claustrophobic. Dim interior and all the wood accents and furniture pieces gives the sports/country bar vibes.There is a stretch of really good mixed drink options that I have to go back to try. The Caribbean Mango Margarita definitely sneaks up on you.. The waitresses are friendly and very attentive. The food comes in huge portions and is super fresh with high quality flavor. I'm originally from the Boston area and this place has a little bit of home. I have never, in my 52 years, been in a bar/restaurant that had such an extensive menu. Second I've never been in a bar where everything I ate was top notch delicious. During my month in Pennsylvania on business I didn't want to eat anywhere else.
