Cindy catered three meals a day and snacks/drinks for a training that lasted 4 days. The food was incredible. True homemade southern fare. Like Grannie used to make. The whole team was impressed with her attitude and positivity. She listened when those healthy folks wanted salad or didn't eat beef and gladly provided alternatives. She became part of the team for an emotional training. She was a breath of fresh air to all of us. She cut up and laughed with us. When some of us had to respond during a crisis and help out our team she made us a plate for later with a sweet note and extra cake :) This woman went above and beyond and I was glad to get to know her. The food was great but more importantly she has excellent customer service so her customers are left with a positive experience which is what good southern food is all about. She didn't even mind some of us visiting her in the kitchen and chit chatting. It was a pleasure to meet you Cindy! Thank you so much! I was glad to...

The outside appearance and interior decor are not stylish, but this roadside eatery is worth driving a few extra miles. It was our first visit and we had breakfast. The portions are generous, the food is prepared perfectly and very tasty. Our waitress, Rachel, was the epitome of friendliness and efficiency. Despite only having one cook, the food was on our table in no time. Our coffee cups were kept filled and the bill was more than reasonable. The lunch menu looked great enough to entice me back for a meat and three lunch. The food was great. Rachel was great. The prices were great. We will be back. If you haven’t eaten there, you need to. (They are only open for breakfast and lunch, closing around 2PM most days, but check the hours out as...

Southern cooking at it's BEST! Fried chicken salad (served with Captain's Wafers, not saltines - THANK YOU!) is delicious! It's so easy to overcook fried chicken - Cindy's is crispy, moist, plentiful for the salad, and simply divine! Two meats are offered for the daily plates, available with choice of 2 or 3 vegetables and choice of bread. All of it is cooked FRESH daily. The Salisbury steak is perfect! Not too thin, too much bread, nor too salty (common problems). Great portions, too. Rachel is an amazing waitress - so friendly and meeting every need without "hovering." Heads up - it's a small diner, so for Heaven's sake don't pass it...

Decided to stay for a day in Dickson after my visit in Nashville for work. Picked this little café for breakfast before stopping by Montgomery Bell for a bit. Honestly the food was okay (had biscuits with sausage and gravy, and french toast). I'm still raving about this place because of the hospitality and service I was shown while there. Completely trumped Texan friendliness. I honestly wasn't sure how it'd go but I came away so impressed by Tennessean hospitality shown solely in this restaurant. Some of the best service I've ever received. (My server was named Cindy, but not the owner Cindy). Thank you so much for your love and kindness!

This is our first time that a country kitchen cooking in-front of us which you can see how they cook our foods. Foods are really delicious leaving my plate empty🍽️😀Always cooking from the heart, no rush! And price is reasonable! Staff are friendly and happy working together here…and we’re spoiled with the coffee which we cannot live without it😋☕️😍! Update 01/6/2024: We’re back here to have breakfast and still packed of diners that are come and go! Service are always great! We definitely be coming back here again and again! Experience yourself here, you’ll feel home ❤️! Thank you guyz!

My husband and I stopped here on our way home from Nashville. Instead of going to a more popular chain restaurant we decided to stop and try a small business instead. We cannot say enough good things about this place. Everyone from the staff to other customers were so incredibly friendly. It has a nice small town country feel to it and I absolutely love that they have a cross hanging up on the wall inside. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced as well. If we could, we would give this place 10 stars! The only negative is we live like an hour and a half away from them. 😟😀
