[Noon] My husband & I arrived at the drive-thru menu, noticing only 1 vehicle in the parking lot...so we beat the lunch-time rush!? Then came the voice of the drive-thru operator, "If you wanna come in, I'll take your order, honey." Confused, I responded, "Is the drive-thru closed?" No answer. We reluctantly parked & I took a few minutes to make myself presentable. Not prepared to go in, we got out of the vehicle to find 4 cars lined up at the drive-thru window! Ugh, we should've gotten back in line, but unfortunately we didn't. Inside we see 4 women "working" & 2 customers are waiting to place their orders at the counter. After some time, they're finally waited on. I wonder if the place just opened but soon find out that's not the case, because all but a few tables are dirty. These employees are just not considerate, nor do they get in any hurry. An older couple gets in line behind us. We place our order & are advised my grilled chicken sandwich will take 10-15 minutes, if we wanna wait. I say yes. [12:20] Then we get our bitter & stale "sweet tea" & sit down at the "cleanest" grimy table we could find. [12:30] I go to their foul-smelling bathroom to wash my hands, hoping the food will arrived at our table in my absence. I come back out disappointed. I kid you not, the older couple (who were in line right behind us) had their food delivered to their table, they went up & asked for sauce, ate all their food & left before our food was even cooked. Also in that time, the guy who ordered right before us, asked for a refund & left...I'm assuming because it was taking too long. Then another couple came in to wait about 10 minutes at the counter (even walking to the "pickup" end of the counter to try to get someone's attention) only to be ignored, so they left without even being waited on. I watched, who appeared to be the manager, in the very back of the kitchen area, make a phone call as she obliviously stirred something. 3 new customers came in, picked up their food & went on their way. Maybe they ordered on the app? [12:47] Our name was finally called & my husband had to go get our food from the pickup counter. My chicken sandwich: sloppy, macaroni & cheese: bland & I didn't even get my sweet potato pie. My husband's bacon, egg & cheese biscuit: bacon was undercooked, bo fries: seasoned well but not fresh or warm, 6 bo-berry biscuits: tough & overcooked but not fresh at all. However, Bojangles did not have lettuce or tomato. So instead they put extra mayonnaise on it. I never asked for mayonnaise period But the images show how overboard These establishments go when it comes to compensating. For something they don't have Bo. Jangles, I'm gonna ask y'all real question. Did you really think that I was gonna bite into that? And not know that there was like 3 gallons of mayonnaise on my sandwich not to mention how dry it the chicken meat was no surprise ive heard this from a few people in person about the meat on the bone items also. Not sure what was happening with that situation. Anyhow, I ordered the tender platter 25 piece two orders of family, potatoes, family, mac & cheese, and a family green bean and also ask that I still get the promotional order in the app, what is a free chicken sandwich this is that I was having issues could I still get that and she OK that and but I didn’t get my sandwich but I called hero and I am down if I’m ever back in there I can get my chicken sandwich i’m not mistaken. Her name was Brandy very very sweet lady very polite. She wasn’t rude by no means and it was almost at closing time by the time I got there I did not do the online ordering app. It was like earlier at 7 o’clock, so I have plenty of time to order online.
