I recently had the unfortunate experience of ordering from a Jamaican restaurant that I had high hopes for, but my order proved to be nothing short of a culinary disaster. From the moment I placed my order, the red flags were waving. First off, the customer service was excruciatingly poor when I called to inquire on the soup (which I really needed). When I attempted to ask about the soup options, I was told curtly that it wasnât available on the UberEats menu. This was frustrating as I had seen it listed in their offerings prior to ordering. It felt like I was talking to a wall; no effort was made to accommodate my request or explain why it wasnât available. Instead, I was met with indifference. Alas, the issues didnât stop there. I specifically stated NO gravy when placing my order. Itâs a simple enough request, especially considering how many people dislike their food drenched in sauce. Yet, when my order arrived, it was swimming in a pool of gravy that completely overpowered the flavors of the dish. It was a shockingly blatant oversight that left me bewildered and disappointed. To make matters worse, I discovered that I didnât even receive all of my order. After eagerly waiting to dig into my meal, I found myself shortchanged. It was as if the restaurant had decided to play a cruel game of âguess what you didnât get.â Missing items ( no drink, no rice for my overpriced brown stew snapper) can happen, of course, but the lack of attention to detail and care for the customer was palpable. In summary, my experience with this Jamaican restaurant was nothing short of a nightmare. Poor customer service, inability to accommodate special requests, and incomplete orders resulted in a truly frustrating encounter. I left with no desire to return, feeling cheated out of both my money and my time. If youâre looking for an enjoyable dining experience, I would recommend looking elsewhere. This establishment surely has a long way to go in order to improve.

Read moreI have been coming here for years and used to love the old management before it became Caribbean Grill. Tonight was my last straw. The food quality has been down the drain for some time, but because I had a positive relationship for years, I kept ordering. I did an Uber Eats tonight and they did not include my brown stew chicken order. A simple apology would do, but guess what I got? I called and asked how it could be fixed and long story short some ratchet woman yells that humans make mistakes and hung up on me. Your food tastes American, and then you add the disrespect? I called back and spoke with the manager who then tried to correct me for expressing my disappointment with her disrespect as she continues to talk trash in the background. This is not an alley, where you pick fights with customers for your mistakes. This is supposed to be a restaurant with caribbean food that tastes good and authentic and respectful customer service. Caribbean Grill is like a local Chinese Carryout now. UberEats took care of my refund but as I expressed to the manager, who did not seem to care, they have lost a loyal customer. I have ordered $100+ meals from them before, used them for catering and more, always tipped well and always showed love and respect, trying to support a local business, even with their shortcomings. I've brought so many people to their business throughout the years. I'll circulate my support and money somewhere else. You may think you lost one customer, but you've lost the support of that 1 customer who was making a difference in your business. You never know who is walking through your door,...
