I ordered the Whiting fish meal with two sides ; the two sides being collard greens and macaroni and cheese with a Large Tea/Lemonade 🍋 mix and banana pudding; the banana pudding had no bananas in it, just the pudding and soggy wafer cookies ( not grandma's recipe but it was alright). The fish was phenomenal and is the reason that I'm rating them five stars . On the other hand , I didn't care for the collard greens or macaroni and cheese (this could be due to biased taste buds) , there's a specific taste that I go for when eating greens and macaroni and cheese and the taste preference depends on where the cooks of these dishes originate . It wasn't nasty just not to my liking. That fish 🐟 though ... OMG!!! I'll definitely be ordering from there again , I'll try different...

My $15 pick up order somehow rang up as $30. I'd ordered wings (only-no fries) and a side order of hush puppies. They forgot the hush puppies (had to go back for them). My order had somehow turned into two orders of wings WITH fries. This explains the $15 price difference. That might be ok. I'll forgive it as an error.
Alas, the food itself was terrible. I'm not sure what they're cooked in, maybe old oil? I ate half, left the rest. The fries, which I hadn't ordered, were stale. The Hush puppies were ok.
I ordered a slice of cake. $4. Wow was it terrible. Dry, stale and aged. I took two bites and left the rest.
The food at this place is inedible. I wouldn't feed my leftovers to the dogs....

We ordered 100 pieces of chicken and fish each. The food was cooked on time but the men in the store didn't have the decency to help me carry those 5 HOT PANS of food to the car. Did I mention that we were parked right in front of the building. I asked if he would help, he simply passed the hot pans to me from behind the counter. The men at the LAX liquor store was more than happy to walk across the parking lot to load my purchase. Also, there was a time when we would get free fries with a large purchase such as this, NOT NO MORE. AND I would have to agree about the fish, seasoning was lacking. This will be my LAST TIME patronizing this establishment, I will go down the street to NY...
