Hardee's — Restaurant in Dixon Township

We were there 11/20/18 and we spent $35 there. We got 4 burgers and 4 little slammers and 2 large curly fries. They brought the 4 burgers first and they were getting the rest of the order ready. I got looking at the order and they forgot a burger so I looked at my receipt and it wasn't on the receipt so I went to the counter and said we ordered 4 burgers not 3 and when we ordered the burgers we said the order about 4 times so she would get it right. (I guess we should've repeated it again) Then because it was her mistake I thought I would get the burger free. She charged me for the burger then we ate the other burgers then today we eat the other burgers. But, when my wife opened her sandwich open that they forgot before there was NO BURGER just bun and other things. If it wasn't so far to drive back down there (75 miles) I would go back down there and show them what my wife got in her sandwich NO BURGER how could they forget to put a burger in a sandwich. I usually give a good review on the places I eat at But not this time. I guess if we go back there we're going to check our orders...

5 years ago I gave this Hardee's four out of five stars. It's time to update that rating.

Several years ago I esteemed Hardee's as the fast food restaurant chain that boasted the finest hamburger available. They were reliably delicious and hit the spot every time.

Today, because I did not manage my time carefully, I found myself in a position to grab lunch on the way out of town. I hit up this Hardee's and received, for $12, a pathetic, dry, tasteless hamburger and some soggy fries. I have no doubt that this location follows official Hardee's corporate guidelines regarding food preparation to the letter.

The sad truth is that you can no longer rest assured that you will receive a good meal for a good price...

My order was wrong in the drive and I caught it due to the total. They rebrang it and I went home. Should have checked the bag in drive because they are pretty consistent about messing up dinner orders. If you're lucky enough that they answer the phone you can complain but they will hang up on you if you call their food any name. I did that and got hung up on. I called back and was told he is Christian and he does not need to be talked to that way. Since when did that make you a better person or correct your mistake to a customer? Rude customer service. Called corporate and drove back to give them the nasty food back and got my money so not...
