Pedro's Cocina — Restaurant in Dixon

First timer, they have been open 3 weeks in new location. We went to the original location first. No sign saying they moved. A boy on a scooter let me know they moved and where. Thanks kid. I am sure they are working the kinks out. You can sit and have your order taken or you can order at the register. If you sit and order there were no menus. There was lots of people. It took 40 mins to get our food. Posole was good, meat was tender. Comes with lettuce, chiles and onion on the side. I got a 3 tacos plate, carnitas, carne asada, and adobada. Carne asada was the one I enjoyed more. Also ordered a gordita, it has beans and meat. I ordered one with cheese & chicken. Food could have been a bit warmer. The 2 waitresses were attentive for having a full house. I will definitely wait a while before I go back...

I used to go to Pedro‘s a lot, but after the awful experience that I had in 2023. I got married and he did not provide the food that I needed. He and I agreed that he was gonna served different foods and he did not serve one of them and he wasn’t able to recognize his mistake after showing him the receive of the contract that we had made together. The side that he forgot was birria and I really wanted that one also we had agreed to have a buffet theme and he made my guest feel so uncomfortable. He only gave them a choice of two items instead of having unlimited. Please save your money and do not hire him for catering. He ruined my wedding. First off let me start by saying that it was our wedding rehearsal in downtown Dixon and we had reservations at Murillo’s but when we arrived there was a sign that said “Closed until further notice due to plumbing issues” so I had 20 very hungry people panicking! My sister in law called Pedro’s and they said they could accommodate us- they did more than accommodate us they took very good care of my very big family! Great food, decent prices for great food, wonderful customer service from all the employees,the bartender even takes his time to find the right drink for you. Thank you Pedro’s!
