Delicious! I want to give a more thorough review later on each dish but with this establishment I would like to give word and a 5 star ahead of time... these folks do it right. Burgers are constructed with a premium beef. Chicken platter is practically enhaled (I don't do spicy often so get the sauce on the side if you have concerns because I wouldn't be able to be a good reference) and the lamb gyro is to expectations- I really would like to see a full assortment on a menu with all sorts of add-ons right in the heart of Dixon at some point in the future going with some organics like other farm to fork also including dishes down to their roots and not just getting the public something you'd regularly encounter. Sit-in restaurant quality as fast food is kind of brilliant to me. Smaller menu but it's still catering you cant just serve any and everything the heart can desire. Don't let the initial appearance fool you... some people shy away fearing roach coach; as a previous construction worker I remember frequently getting gypt. Stop though regardless, it's affordable it won't hurt you financially or as for your pallet. Great...
Read moreRay's Kitchen gave me my first experience of Lamb that I know of, hahaha. It is tasty, soft, and moist. Season just right for me. I also ordered the loaded fries, which loaded me up. Then ate some more without warming it up, and it was still good, but I should have warmed it up. I will be a regular customer at Ray's Kitchen.
The server is pleasant and joyful, which goes a long way with me. That type of treatment is limited at most restaurants from one star to six stars, so that goes a long way with me.
