Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Dodge City

where do i start? i HATE leaving bad reviews and i MEVER EVER even review things. but this was worth saying. i ordered through doordash and it said 18-28 min wait. no big deal. we got there right on time and my boyfriend went in and didn’t come out for another 30 minutes. he said there wasnt any manager and was run by teenagers. the workers didn’t even know how to work doordash or what to do they finally figured it out and we decided to take it home to our hotel to eat. it was the WORST presented food i’ve seen. i had a COLD veggie burger and there was probably one sprinkle of cheese on it which was my only topping. my boyfriends double burger was COLD and we live only 7 mins away from the restaurant so it wasn’t us. we also ordered the cheese curds and fries. Freddy's here has a few unique things going on, with a few challenges for ya, just to make it fun. First off, It is by far the first upside down chili dog I've seen, so I think they've cornered the market on that but the challenge comes when you go through the drive through and they playfully withhold your eating utensils...those little tricksters. But the fun little surprise comes when the inside of the hotdog is usually cold. I mean, who eats them hot anyway? (Other than it is inferred in the name) So if you like cold dogs and eating an upside-down chili dog with your bare hands like a caveman because you think utensils are over rated, then this is the place for you! But if you are one of those people who expect too much and you do not carry extra utensils around and pack the microwave when you leave the house...this place may not be right for you....

We placed an online order that consisted of 3 combos and a kids meal. The order was placed at 7:08 and supposed to be ready at 7:23 and we pulled up to the window at 7:30. The young lady at the window said the order was not ready and did not even ask what name was under it nor order number. She told us to park and check back later. I told her my name and asked if that was the order that was not ready and she said “yeah, and we do not come out and give it to you, you have to come in and get it” she was very short and had a rude attitude.
