I stopped in Dodge City and after a week of nothing but chain restaurants serving burgers, steak and mexican food I was really looking forward to something different.
I have been to Thailand for holidays many times, and my wife who was with me in Dodge City lived in Bangkok for some time so we have both tasted the best foods available in Bangkok. The meal we ate at Sarocha's Thai was the best meal of our entire 5 week road trip through 20 states from NY to CA. The food here is genuine. Had an army been there before us on a Sunday morning? The service was pathetic. Even if the food had been good and a variety to choose from - isn't that the idea of a buffet? - it was overpriced. Filthy surroundings that were just plain gross. The children's booster chairs had not been cleaned in ages and...
