The place has gone downhill. I guess there's a refresh of guys and gals working there, and it's for the worse. Mind you, I've experienced terrible service before, so I don't want to exaggerate. However, no one greeted any of the customers who came in, there were a lot of uberEATs drivers waiting, and for some reason, they didn't put out all of the orders in the designated area for pickup. Mine was one of a few sitting behind the counter for no apparent reason. It was also the first time I ordered the vanilla cold brew, and it doesn't look anything like the picture. So, I wasn't sure they even put vanilla in it. I approached the guy at the front counter, and when he saw me coming, he looked disappointed even though he wasn't doing anything at all at the register. He explained it to me like I was some guy who lacked common sense. Maybe I do. I'm not a coffee guy, but I thought I should try it out that particular morning. I'm not sure what exactly is wrong with this location now, but the atmosphere gave off a busy but careless vibe. Didn't seem like anyone wanted to be there, and I didn't once see any employees talking to each other. Weird.
Not looking forward to coming back here. Might avoid it...
Read moreI placed a big order over the phone the morning before I had to come in to pick it up. I spoke to a lady named Vilma who had advised that the order would be ready at 7:30am. When I come in the next day, I make sure to come in a few minutes earlier because I know it may take some time. The lady at the cashier was extremely rude and told me that the order had not been placed and that they couldn’t make my order. Then the owner “found my order” and proceeded to say that it was placed for a different day, when I was precise that I was picking it up for the next day. The cashier proceeded to become upset, became rude and snappy, and began to say that the reason they are behind is because “they are short staffed” and that if I wanted my order, I needed to “call the president to give them more money to provide more positions to their location so that they can be staffed correctly”. I don’t think I have ever been to a place where they have spoke to me in this tone or manner. If I could give this place 0 stars I would, but Google doesn’t...
Read moreI’ve been an active customer at the Doral location for years and I’ve been ordering the same bagel sandwich since I can remember. I’m not sure if they changed their quality control, staff, etc. but the last 4-5 times I’ve ordered my go-to (Turkey, Bacon, and Avocado) I have not enjoyed it. The quality of the food has gone downhill. One time, I had to throw away my entire order because it was disgusting and the avocado + lettuce were so bad. I’m not one to complain or leave bad reviews because I understand things happen, but I should’ve said something that time. After not ordering there for 1-2 months, I decided to place a to-go order only to get it delivered and see the lettuce is once again not fresh, ugly, and bad.
