The wifey and I enjoy a good Mediterranean eatery and a local business so we decided to give this place a try. It's a counter serve place inside a small grocery. As far as corona precautions, all employees wore masks but the tables were at regular spaced intervals. This wasn't a problem on the Tuesday night we went since we were the only ones eating in. While we were there, they had a steady stream of take out customers. Unfortunately this place was a very mixed bag. I'll start with the good part: the falafels were delicious! Crispy, crunchy, and the flavor was very agreeable. The selection of baklava we got was very tasty as well. Sweet enough. Not sure if they were home made or bought industrially though; they all looked uniform. There were many negatives for me: the appetizer spinach and feta cheese pie was awful. Clearly reheated in a microwave (a no no), the dough had a rubbery texture of course, and worst of all the filling was non-existent. On top of that, we got an extra old pie (see the darker pie in the picture); it tasted even more rubbery and stale than the lighter one! As if it was triple microwaved! As far as my entrée, beef shawarma over rice, it was cold. Not even lukewarm. The grape leaves side I picked were cold too unfortunately, and that was my bad. I didn't remember they are like that. They were unremarkable. Wifey's entrée was much better and warm, and her review reflects that. As far as I'm concerned, there were one too many disappointing aspects of my meal. I won't be returning to this...

Today I decided to go to the Mediterranean Bakery to buy a chicken gyro (shawarma). After it was made I took one bite and before I was even able to leave the parking lot, I felt nauseous. I ended up vomiting. I always go to this place and when I went to complain, the lady that knows me was showing concern and decided to tell the owner. He showed no concern about me vomiting, he didn't ask if I was ok or even apologize. The owner said I could go to the doctor get a report and sue them because he could care less. He refused to apologize or refund me my money. As an owner he should show even a slight bit of concern, but his employee was more concerned about my health than he was. I live an hour away and still drive all the way here all the time to eat. I do not recommend anyone coming here, and I will also not step a foot in there myself. I haven't experienced an owner as...

I was really expecting great food from the moment I stepped in. Looks clean and the lady who took my order was very nice. First hint for owners of similar establishments please have a Combination Platter, some of us we like all! Well I ordered the Falafel Platte. And added Grape Leaves as side. The pic on the menu shows hummus and tabbouleh. Mine didn't have either. 4 pieces of falafel was good flavor and warmly, the 4 pieces of grape leaves was cold, out of the fridge 😣 Old lettuce some tomatoes and a bunch of pickles. A little creamy dressing, no yogurt. The pita bread was good and warm. No, I'm not returning, the price for this disappointing Platte? $10.00 At the end the smiley lady was gone and a pretty rude cook brought my...

Enjoyed authentic Mediterranean food! It was my first time coming in person, but I knew it’d be good because I’ve had it at a catered event. The atmosphere makes you feel at home, as a lot of natives frequent the establishment AND half is a grocery store where people shoo for household staples. The cashier is where you both check out your groceries and order food. The service was fast and friendly! I got the chicken shawarma plate, which came with two sides. I got it with falafel and a Greek salad as my sides (~$15). I also got a spinach and feta pie (~$2). The plate came with a garlic sauce that rivals any other I’ve tasted. Everything I ordered was flavorful and delicious!! Will absolutely be back.
