Such a cute pizza shop with seating available. I have a dairy and egg allergen and read that they had vegan options available. I was greeted when I walked in & explained that I wanted to insure the crust, cheese, and sauce was vegan because that would avoid the allergies I had but the toppings could be normal. I ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza, It was delicious! When it was brought to the table the person made sure I was handed the correct pizza and let me know precautions were taken. Thank you for being soo caring and nice to prepare my order correctly, I would highly recommend. Not to mention sometimes the flavors aren't the best but I honestly couldn't tell the difference with the allergen friendly ingredients. It was the best pizza I've had in awhile. 😊

I’m from Buffalo, NY, and whenever I come to Pittsburgh this place is a MUST STOP. They are always INSANELY nice, and the staff remembered me (the daughter of the owner) as I did her as she was my server many years ago. They have the best Vodka Pasta, Chicken Parm, and 6 cheese pizza is nothing like we’ve had before in Buffalo. My fiance and I rant and rave about this place. The Giovonnis in Pittsburgh are different, so go to this place for an amazing staff and amazing food.

We love giovanni’s pizza and pasta and have had it for years but this is the first time I’m a bit disappointed. There were two cherry tomatoes in my salad. One of them had a big green spot on top of the tomato. I look close and it’s mold.. As a pregnant woman, I feel more cautious with the food I eat. Just didn’t think I would have to be with giovanni’s. Lesson learned. Always check your food before you eat 😕

I am a regular customer of Giovanni's Dormont and always order the x-large pizza with one topping and also sometimes an order of wings with the wing dust. I usually enjoy the food but tonight, I ordered my usual pizza and wings and it just was not up to par as usual. First off it took over an hour to get my delivery. At first I thought it being a Friday night, perhaps they were just busier than usual.

Then as we began to eat, I realized,..it was all "overcooked". First the pizza was too well done, cut irregularly,..some pieces were tiny and some were huge, crust edges overbrowned and dry, pepperoni overcooked and dry. so was the cheese, not the usual gooey goodness. We opened the wings then only to realize, they also were overcooked!! Did they put the food on and then forget it was cooking?? I just get the wing dust, but they are usual so good and tonight, they were dry, crunchy, to the point of being hard and flavorless! I'm not sure who was cooking there tonight,..but whoever it was I hope he is not working there for long or I will find a new favorite place to get my pizza. And for all of this,..it only cost me $28.00 with tip. I don't mind paying that when the food is good,..but in this case it was anything but. What's up...

Giovanni's has been our go-to place for pizza and pasta during the Covid era - I regret that we did not really stumble across this location until everything was shut down.

Other pizza places close to Giovanni's brag about having the best pizza in America, but their service is so slow and their customer service so pitiful that their pizza can't salvage a horrible night of trying to eat. Giovanni's is completely the opposite with their service. Easy to order, easy to pick up, and when they tell you an order will be ready, it will be ready. The pasta dishes are good bang for your buck - lots of food at a reasonable price.

A few weeks ago we had extended family over visiting, and no one wanted to cook. We decided to place a large order to Giovanni's instead. Pizza, pasta, the works. They had our order ready for pick up when we walked in, and it was almost painful how simple the entire process was from ordering to unwrapping the food at home.

All of what we've tried has been tasty, but we really recommend the...

Our family had been ordering from Giovannis for years. Because of our experience today we will never be ordering from there again. The pizza we received was nasty. One pizza was burnt and the crust on both of them was so thin it was barely there, the cheese was also minimal and the pizza tasted odd and disgusting. When I called to politely explain to the manager about our experience and not even asking for free pizza or a coupon or anything I was treated very rudely. He stated I personally looked at it before it left the store and that's the way we've been serving it for years. I politely stated that we've ordered before and it was never like this and he said I don't know what to tell you the pizza was fine and I said well I'm sorry then but we wont be ordering from you anymore and he didn't even care. After telling my mom what he had said to me and the way he treated me she called and spoke to him politely and was treat just as...
