I haven't been to this exchange in about a year because of an awful experience I had with the female manager that works there (I am not sure what her name is). She was extremely loud - so much so I could barely hear the music - and being rude to employees as well as customers. So I ended up going there yesterday to see if things have changed - THEY HAVE NOT.

The female manager was again loud and rude - telling one employee "get away from me! get your face out of my face!" as well as talking the whole time I was there. So I browsed all of the records for approximately 45 minutes and I was on U when the female manager came out from the back break room and said she was going to put the 5 records I had set out up to the front of the store. I explained that I was almost done (on U) and that I prefer to look a the condition of the vinyl first and then return any albums I do not want back to the shelves they belong on. She said that the records I had out were in the way of other people looking at the records. I looked around and explained that clearly no one else was looking at records. Then she explained it was store policy to keep the records in the front and that I could check out the condition in the front when I was ready to check out. She had walked past me 3 previous times in the 45 minutes I was there and didn't mention anything about store policy and taking the records up front. This was almost the exact same thing that happened the last time I was in the store, and because of that I explained that if she took the records up front that I wouldn't be buying any records that day. She simply responded "that is the store policy" and walked to the front of the store with the records.

Not only did your store lose out on $50 of business, but I will not be returning to this store ever again. I guess that customer service isn't important to this manager or at this store. This is easily the worst experience I have had buying records AND IT HAPPENED TWICE!

I suggest that people drive a few extra miles to the south side, Pitt or McKnight road location and find everything that this location has without the manager on some crazy power trip.

I would like to say that EVERY OTHER EMPLOYEE in the store was professional and one even answered a weird question that I asked about Fugazi...

Very nice and helpful..except for one employee..he has no personality what so ever. I tried talking with him and was extremely nice to him and he ignored or gave one answer questions and just seemed very miserable. I was there 2 days in a row, 3 times all together in those 2 days and he acted the same exact way....came back to add about my last visit and to put my stars down..as I was in there with my son and brother BUYING things that I had them actually just hold at the counter for me while I still looked around..I watched the one employee, a femlae with a shaved buzz cut walk arpund every corner and try to stare at me as if I was stealing..everytime I saw her she wluld run real quick to a dofferent spot..I saw her every time. I have never gavw this store a problem and she had no reason to single us out like that when there was a whole store of customers that she should have been helping. When confronted she turned real red and tried making excuses..she knew I caught her! I will drive further to a different exchange now. They will never get any business out of me, and I spend quite a bit of money there too! I will nkt be treated like a criminal or watched ecery move I make..and I move a lot in a store with a 4 year old! Worry about the customers who were standing there waiting for help not me who was trying to figure out what other game my son wanted. There loss, and I will let many others know to not go there either! Nice try little lady, but you had the wrong people! You prpbably gpt robbed by someone else while peeking at me and my 4 year old around the corners. That was real weird...

Be aware when going here and trading things in. Employee tried to scam me. He was willing to take a look at my magic cards I had on hand along with a number of other items I had taken in including two Gameboys (sp and color) final fantasy and Pokemon blue which were purchased previously from that same location. 170is for the lot including a stack of cards that he didn't bother reading off to me. I decided to take a look before the trade and find that I had left a mox amber in there with the price tag on it from a purchase. This man was giving me less then 10 dollars for a card labeled 56 dollars mint condition and then proceeds to tell me he only has experience buying pokemon cards. I've spent well over 500 dollars on the items taken in for trade and I get it that they need to resell but he was almost beside himself asking what I would ask for it. Without it in the sales price it brought things down to 167. Absolutely insane. I'm aware that I could get more money individually online or at other shops but what I don't like is feeling like someone is scamming me by claiming to know less then they actually do. I won't be returning to this location in the future and if I could give no...
