Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Dothan

Driving through Dothan back to Panama City, this has become one of my stops, considering we don't have a Church's in Panama City any longer. Stopping on Sunday afternoon, at getting out of church time, I was pleasantly surprised when I didn't have to wait for food to be cooked. I was able to get my 8 pieces, peppers, and fried okra using the drive-through window without having a delay. Although I don't like big fat pieces of chicken, a couple of my legs were just barely bigger than a wingette. Chicken tasted good, but my okra was burnt or cooked in overused oil they weren't the best I've gotten from there. Had I eaten there, I would have asked for them to be relaced. Always a long wait in the drive thru , And every since they started having the spicy chicken i have only been able to get spice like twice , And i use to go there at least once a week , The last time i did manage to get spicy chicken it was over cooked from the heat lamp or oven it was in . I had to tear off the crust off the chicken to be able to eat it and even then the meat its self was dried out , I usually go to Popeyes to be able to get spice and not over cooked chicken and i can get in and out oif there usually with in 10 mins or so rather that 35 - 45 mins at Churches even when there is like 1 - 2 cars in the drive thru with me . Churches is like 1 mile from me .. Popeyes is 2.8 miles . I most times i will drive the extra mile to get fresh...

I love Church's Chicken. I have a gluten sensitivity. So I have to remove the skin from the chicken so it doesn't make me sick. So when it comes to the sides mashed potatoes is all I can eat. Church's Chicken Why would your food service worker tell their customers, "well first shift didn't make any mashed potatoes without the gravy and he wasn't going to make any mashed potatoes without the gravy either." Like everybody don't eat gravy. Why make the whole thing up with gravy? The last few times have been like this. No mashed potatoes without the gravy because the workers refuse to make the customer mashed potatoes you will get what they make and their is no customer...
