Crazy Monkey — Restaurant in Dothan

This is an extremely friendly-atmsophered dive bar with three pool tables, a separate lounge area, good bar and table seating, and dart boards. The bartenders are decently versed in mixed drinks and can make most common concoctions and some specialty. They do have a martini menu and a full service kitchen (I did not order food as we had just ate) but overall my experience was a 8/10. The entire bar is smoke-friendly so expect that, and that is my only complaint.

Decent prices, just do wish they had a tap selection- but it is made up for with a decent amount of bottles/cans and every common/uncommon...

First time visiting this afternoon on a Friday. The bartender asked me if I wanted to start a tab. I gave her my card but told her I was gonna pay with cash so she took it anyway and I didn’t think nothing of it. I got some food and a few drinks which come up to $28 gave her 30 cash and she decided to charge my card also of course I did not tip her well, obviously because she was not very friendly and her drinks were not that great.I had, had a bad day already stealing money from me lesson learned. I'm so glad my sister found this place when she was visiting from TN a couple weeks ago. This place has become my new favorite place to get a drink! I love the atmosphere here, and the bar tender is extremely friendly and chatty and I love that since sometimes I'm by myself when I go out as we rarely ever get babysitters. The people who go here during the day crowd are also pretty friendly and that's very important for me when choosing a place to go relax for an hour or two! The wall decor is also very cute and there's usually only good music playing on...
