Roaches! This place has roaches. We were traveling through Dothan, and stopped for food at this location on Sunday, March 13. Ordered and paid for our food. After the food was paid for, we saw a baby roach crawling on the counter between the register and the prepared food. We said to the cashier that there is a roach crawling on the counter. She shrugged her shoulders, didn't appear surprised at all, and brushed the roach to the floor. At that point, we asked to cancel the order and refund our money. The manager walked over and she told the manager that we canceled our order because we saw a roach on the counter. The manager didn't appear surprised either, and didn't say anything to us, no apology, and no acknowledgement that this was an awful look for their restaurant. The manager should have quietly thanked us for not causing a scene telling the customers in line behind us about the roaches. They did cancel the order and refunded our money. While that was happening, we saw 2 more baby roaches crawling in the same area on the counter. This area was right next to the prepared food, so I can imagine there were others crawling on the food. I can imagine how many were crawling in the kitchen in the food prep area! According to Google, baby cockroaches are about as bad a sign as you can find. Finding a big brown adult cockroach could mean you've just caught one lonely wanderer. Finding baby roaches signals that, at the very least, there are a few adults nearby and they're ready to reproduce again, and again. Baby roaches – in kitchens or bathrooms – are usually an indication of a German cockroach infestation. Based on the reaction of the cashier and manager, this was no big deal to them. To top it off, there was a Health Inspection Report displayed that had this restaurant rated at a 92A. It would be nice to know who the Inspector is and when it...
Read moreThe beer that had the straw in it at the front door just about sums up our experience here. Started out really well. The cashier has new, so she was completely understanding about the fact they I've never been there and lingo is a little different. It quickly went downhill from there. We got breakfast, so biscuits were involved, but we didn't get any kind of sauce or jelly to put on them, and they were just dry. I sent my son 1st to the counter. He waited 5 or so mins, and no one even acknowledged him. I told him to sit back down, and I went in his place, thinking maybe because he's little he didn't get any service. I stood for another 5 mins and got nothing, either. Finally, my husband went up there because I told him he could just eat my food bc it was flavorless. He waited yet another 5 mins before any service and told the lady that we had already been standing there before he came to the counter. Then, when we left, the lady gave me the nastiest look she could muster and sarcastically said,...
Read moreWent to Bojangles in Dothan. Ordered at the window. Was told to go around to the front and wait. Waited 30 minutes. Walked inside. Watched them give my 12 piece order to another person who had ordered something really small. Just by saying is this yours? The guy said yes and got a free $30 upgrade. When I asked about my order, they said we're not making any more chicken (30 minutes to close by now), here's your money back, goodbye. The service and food at the Dothan's Bojangles has been getting worse and worse steadily going down hill. This was the last time I'll be going there. No one that works there cares in the least about customer service, extremely poorly managed. As an employer myself, it was easy to spot the "I don't want to work anymore today attitude." When the management is this bad it really calls into question the cleanliness and safety of...
