This was our 1st time to visit. When we walked in it was 8:10 on a Friday night. We chose to sit at the bar to eat dinner. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered 2 appetizers to start since they were half price if you dine at the bar. The 1st one that arrived was delicious. It was the Crab Bites! The 2nd one did not come out of the kitchen for about 20 minutes. It was the Spinach Dip. When it was presented it looked. Over baked. It was not creamy but had texture of a reheated item. Maybe the server forgot about it and the cooks had to reheat it. We didn't complain but ate the spinach dip anyway, the bread was delicious. About half way into eating our food a woman started dragging stools, that are at the hi-tops tables in the bar area across the Cement floor in order to sweep...this made a horrible screeching sound. She did this for 15 minutes , them came to the bar and started dragging the stools next to us and sweeping.

I got out of my seat and said "Do you need to sweep under my stool too?" You would think the person would say " Oh no sir" but she said "Yes"!

Then our server behind the bar started washing several bar mats and slapping the wet mats on the bar behind her..really close to us...this was very annoying while trying to eat and enjoy our wine.

We decided the manager or owner must not be at the restaurant this night. The whole staff were cleaning as if to leave at closing (10pm). It was only 8:30 pm!!

We were very disappointed on our 1st visit. If you visit here make sure its 4 hrs before closing..or you will not enjoy their atmosphere!

Out of fairness I tipped our server 20%. I know its her income source but we probably won't come back for a while!

This was just our experience..maybe yours...

Don't come for brunch. I hesitated to leave a review because I've been to this restuarant so many times over the years and have loved it the entire time. The staff are amazing, the atmosphere is great, the prices are good for fresh, quality food. But I have been here for brunch five times in the last three months and exactly zero of those times did the order go right. Their brunch menu is currently 4 items long. A cast iron pancake, chicken and crepes, breakfast tacos, and a hollandaise sandwich. Every single time I've been in the past few months, at least one of our table's orders is missing something. They're either out of cream, or they're out of strawberries, or they're out of fruit, or they're out of juice. I would imagine their other entrees are more up-to-snuff, and I should hope this problem is endemic only to brunch. The food that you DO get is great, but some of these menu items are like four ingredients and you get only one on your plate. Also, not for nothing, their menu lists 2pm as the closing time for the brunch menu, but their front door says something different. We showed up in time for the brunch menu, but by the time we were ready to place food orders, it was apparently 2 minutes past when the kitchen stops cooking brunch items; it was still before brunch was over according to the menu/door, so we planned an hour trip to Dothan to eat at this restaurant to be told that even though the menu - from which we based our plans - said we were in time for brunch, the kitchen would not make our orders. That was the first of the five times I've been in this timeframe, and I have consistently been disappointed every single time since visiting. The food is great...

My wife and I ate here two years ago and loved it. While her parents were in town yesterday we took them there for dinner with our two little ones. The atmosphere was great, but the service was horrible. The restaurant was not super busy. I should note that our waiter was training a new waitress. We received our drinks and waited for 20 minutes before having to get up to find our waiter to take our order. My wife's soup was dropped off with no spoon. We had to go find someone to get one and when they brought it out, it was dirty. The house salad was amazing, but we had to bust our own salad and appetizer dishes to make room for our pizzas. The pizzas were dropped off by our waiter and he passed by our table twice with all of the dirty dishes on it. I ended up taking the dirty dishes away. When the pizza arrived it was obvious that it had been sitting for a while, as the cheese was hardened and the pizza was barely warm. This may have been a good thing since the waiter put the pizza down right in front of my two year old son. The waiter came by and asked how the pizza was. We told him it seemed to be sitting out and wasn't hot at all. He then commenced to giving us a class on how the oven is 600 degrees and we were obviously mistaken about how hot or fresh the pizza was. He was extremely rude and combative. I feel bad for the new waitress who probably needs to be trained by someone who knows something about customer service. We were very excited about taking our family there, but after this horrible experience will...

Traveling through the area with my 5 year old… I searched for Vegan food near me - google recommended this restaurant. It was such a strange experience. The staff seemed annoyed at having to work, and more interested in socializing among themselves than being bothered by a customer. Their lunch menu was printed on regular paper, which I found a bit lacking for the price point. They did not, in fact, have vegan options. Vegetarian and gluten free yes, vegan no. So I opted for a salad and some pasta with marinara sauce. I also ordered some garlic knots. My 5 year old got some spaghetti from the kids menu. When my food arrived, I was absolutely stunned at how delicious it was!!! Truly mind blown! I did have to chase down the server and interrupt her social time after waiting like 10 minutes wondering if I would ever get my salad. She finally brought it about 5 minutes later. It was also absolutely delicious! My garlic knots came last and they were literally black on top. Not sure if that’s how they were supposed to be??? But I pulled off the black parts and they were also freaking phenomenal! Even burnt! Some of the best food I’ve ever had lol. My bill was about $53 for just myself and my child. At that price it does seem like the staff would be a bit more professional… but the food was so good it’s like maybe I was just lucky to eat there at all and they know it??? I dunno haha. Would I recommend? Absolutely. Just don’t expect 5 star service lol

Great little place. Introduced to them by pizza takeout — which was far and away above expectation. Decided I’d like to sit down for a bite next time for a simple easy supper. The chicken parm sandwich with fries and a side salad — again, above and beyond expectations which were even higher this time. The “simple” sandwich was in a word perfect. Breaded chicken cutlet was a big one cooked perfectly through and still very juicy and tender — a neat trick it seems these days at other restaurants — and very cute presentation on the plate. Fries were just right and garden salad fresh, crisp and bright. Back to their pizza… I didn’t realize how spoiled I was living in the center of the pizza universe of the NYC to New Haven CT corridor for 50 years, until I didn’t live there anymore. It has become kind of a quest to find “real” pizza down here in the Deep South. I can now say that I’ve found another rare gem to add to my favorites. Pizza is a subjective thing that defies any quantified evaluation and so many variations can all be superb. For me it’s the dough/crust and how it’s cooked that defines the pizza. This place does it RIGHT. The greats like Frank Pepe would approve — well done! Work will bring me back to Dothan plenty in the future and I will be working my way through the entire menu here and then going back for my favorites I’m sure. 😉
