Be aware, if you forget something behind in this coffeeshop there is absolutely NO WAY to get a quick hold of them. I forgot my bag with my wallet, passport, tablet and many other valuables here during a coffee stop. Only realized this when we were almost halfway to Atlanta. Frantically tried to find a phone number for Mural City Coffee only to realize they don't have one. Only way to contact them is through email or social media message!!! I quickly sent emails and messages asking if they could put my bag aside if it was still on chair where I left it, then turned car around and headed back to Dothan. Very nerve wracking time for the whole drive back because Mural City Coffeeshop refuses to have a phone contact for their customers. When I arrived back at the coffeeshop, thankfully the bag was still there.
I spoke with the manager to impress upon her that they reconsider this no phone contact policy so that no one else has to go through what I went through - knowing for hours that your bag is sitting there and could be taken by anyone instead of being taken aside by an employee and away from danger. Much to my shock, the manager was completely unsympathetic and seemed uninterested in reconsidering their policy. Insisting that customers who leave bags behind simply wait hours for any action on the part of Mural City (ie until they read their emails/social media messages). If the bag is stolen during that time, so be it - that was their policy. Unacceptable...
Read moreWow!!! A very long, deep sigh....... A woman working at the Candlewood Suites recommended this coffee house......... It was super duper fantastic!!! The espresso was served in a porcelain espresso cup and came with an espresso cup filled with sparkling water. The espresso was delicious. Now allow me to attempt to describe their homemade tiramisu, ( might be misspelled), I turned 63 years old today and that was the most delicious serving of tiramisu I have ever enjoyed!! I live in Montgomery and I intend to visit Dothan again especially for this coffee house. They have exquisite teas and very good wines, some you can purchase by the glass. They roast their own coffee beans and I could taste the quality. The staff working there are friendly, polite, courteous and helpful. It is a family owned and operated business and that is what I prefer to support. I thought Restoration Coffee House in Wetumpka, Alabama was extremely good, but Mural City coffee is better. I am still feeling pleased about my experience at this establishment. I very much highly recommend this...

The real highlight is the coffee itself. I ordered a latte and the siphon coffee, and I can confidently say it was the best authentic coffee experience I've ever had. The flavors were rich and nuanced, and the presentation was impeccable. The baristas clearly take pride in their craft, and it shows in every cup they serve.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for meetings or simply enjoying a cup of coffee on your own. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, happy to answer any questions about their extensive tea selection or coffee-making processes.
Overall, I highly recommend Mural City Coffee Company to anyone seeking a genuine coffee experience. The combination of exceptional coffee, a beautiful interior, and outstanding service makes it a must-visit destination for coffee lovers...
