Hogan's Diner — Restaurant in Dothan

The food was delicious. My husband and I ate for less than $20. He had a plate from the hot food bar. Fried chicken, fried okra and broccoli. We're not talking a small plate either. That was enough to feed two. The broccoli was to die for, the chicken was cooked to perfection crisp and juicy. No salt needed. I had the Hogan Burger with fries and let me tell you that was one hell of a burger. Double patty, Double ham, and double bacon topped with FRESH lettuce, tomato and pickles. Less than $5 for all that juicy burgerness. As for the restaurant itsself it is small and inviting. The staff is super friendly and fun to talk to. He is seldom there, and when there, he had no time to make food for dine in. Also I brought a person to work for him (Lawanda Coston), they talked and they agreed for her to be there at 10 am the next day. She walked from the bottoms to the diner on Range. Waited for him until 10:30, and when he was a ‘no show’, she walked back home. Claims he has 20 plus people that want to work for him, but can’t because he’s not there….such a v.I.p. Lol. We where refused service on a take out order. I will never order from them again and I'm sure no one I know will either. It was probably for the best. Wouldn't want food poison.
