J.Y. Tea — Restaurant in Dothan

This place is great! I’m from NYC and am a huge bubble tea fanatic—there are very few places that have boba as good as this. Their boba is perfectly textured and lightly sweetened, and their tea tastes delicious. It’s not overly sweet or watered/milked down. Thrilled they’ve opened since the last time I was in town, and I’ll stop by every time I’m in Dothan.

Update: I will say that I returned about a month ago (a year from my initial post), and I was a little disappointed in how incredibly sweet everything seems to be now. At other boba places, you can adjust the sweetness to your liking (0%, 30%, 70%, 100%, or in some places 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%), but for whatever reason, I wasn't allowed to do that here. It still seems to be the only boba game in town, so for that reason I'll be back, but I really wish they would consider letting the customer adjust the sweetness level, either for personal taste reasons or in some cases for...

One thing that stands out about J Y Tea is their commitment to customer satisfaction. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to help you find the perfect drink to suit your taste preferences. They take pride in their work and it shows in the quality of their drinks.

As for the drinks themselves, they are simply delicious. Whether you prefer fruity or creamy flavors, there is something for everyone at J Y Tea. The boba is always perfectly cooked and the tea itself is just the right balance of sweet and flavorful. The drinks are also very reasonably priced, making it a great spot for a quick snack or a full-on boba tea experience.

Overall, J Y Tea is a must-visit spot for any boba tea lover in Dothan, Alabama. The quality of their drinks, combined with their excellent customer service and cozy atmosphere, makes for a truly enjoyable experience. I highly recommend giving J Y...

If I could give no stars I would.

Owner is racist, discriminatory towards black individuals, and treats employees with disrespect until they cry. It's going around on Facebook as well. Many have come forward with witnesses of how he treated a previous employee.

Won't hire African-Americans, brash, and judgemental. Think black people will be bad for business if hired and thinks they will steal. Yet is near a predominantly black neighborhood, area.

Hires a certain type to work for him. White, skinny, and has even stated the young girls that work with him are attractive...even if they're 15 and he's 32.

This review may not be much, but it's a start.

If you've been to this establishment you see white, young girls, who dress and basically look the same. Never a black girl, guy, or dark skinned individual. Something is up...
