Pouring rain so was looking for a place with awnings to keep dry. Ordered and when I got to window I was asked to pull forward and they would bring my food out. We are talking a hamburger here, not something crazy they had to dig in the freezer to find. I asked if we could not do that since it was raining and I didn't want me and my car to get wet. I got a dumb look, and decided it wasn't worth it so I pulled forward. By this time the bottom has fallen out and there is half a parking lot full of people waiting for someone to bring drive through items out. I'm watching this poor kid who clearly didn't come prepared to shuttle drive thru orders in the driving rain run around soaked to the bone.
I forgot to check my order and realized one item was left out, so my inner Karen kicked in. Went inside and asked for the missing item, which I was NOT upset about, but did ask to speak to the manager about the rain/drive thru issue. He tells me the store is fined if they have people in the drive thru too long. Guess they found a good company man to run that store since he is far more concerned with the stores bottom dollar than not sending kids with no rain gear out in a downpour getting customers and their food, car, etc wet...
Do better McDonald's. Not only are you disrespecting your employees by treating them like this, you're running off customers by forcing them to follow your ridiculous ideas. Nothing makes me feel appreciated as a customer like rolling down my window in flooding conditions to receive a soggy brown sack from a soaked kid.
As stated, it wasn't like I was an anomaly. They were pushing all drive thru customers to the parking lot to meet their drive thru...

Store closes at 1:00 a.m. I got there before closing around 12:45. I generally come around that time due to my schedule. A man named James said they were closed when it clearly was not 1:00am yet. When I pointed this out, he told they closed early due to short staff, but there was clearly a customer ahead of me getting their food as well. Regardless, there is no excuse, and it was obvious that the employee just didn't want to serve me and go home early. I then politely asked for the manager, and he said he was the manager. Then I asked who his supervisor was and the conversation continued, but he eventually cut me off which was very rude. I then asked him one more time who his supervisor was just for reassurance, and he did not tell me or say anything. it is highly unacceptable to treat me or any other customer this way. Especially with all the money I've spent with McDonald's. I'm going to escalate this case to upper management. Situations like this should not happen to customers, so I've made my decision to report this to upper management and file a complaint so that it helps prevent it from happening again to...
Read moreTo start the guy at the register that took our order was odd. He insisted on asking us what drink we wanted told him Coke and Sprite he the went away without giving us cups. A minute or two he came back with the drinks, I thought the self serve was out of order, but it worked fine. We got our order after I had to ask for it, the order number was in the now serving column on the screen. After we ate decide to order two soft cones, after waiting for about 20 minutes and then seeing my order number in the now serving column I ask what was taking so long the guy working the register went to check, when he came back in about 3 minutes I told him to cancel I wanted my money back, the manager, I found out later, came and ask what the problem was. I told him the problem he said he would get them, I told him I wanted my money back, I finally got it and he said he would give two soft cone for free. I told him no I didn't want them, and I left. This was my favorite MD but I will not be back to this MD. They had a lot of people but I guess they were not working. The place needs someone that can manage...
