Variety and personal choice is the name of the game at one of the newest, and definitely the tastiest option for pizza in Dothan—MY PIE!!
Although My Pie has menu options for all sorts of pizza combinations, as well as salads, wings and calzones, my husband and I typically go for My Pie’s “build your own” pizza option. This is around $12 each. We both usually take half home for another meal.
I think that you get a 12-inch thin crust base, and then you choose from a variety of sauces: regular, spicy, pesto and garlic/olive oil. (Crusts also are available in cauliflower for ketogenic dieters.)
After that, you choose two cheeses—including my favorite—fresh mozzarella—or grated mozzarella, Parmesan, blue cheese and others.
Next you pick your favorite six toppings—veg or meat. The wide selection of veggies include: fresh mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, black olives, Greek olives, roasted red peppers, grilled onions (and pineapple); as well as a variety of proteins, such as large pepperoni, fresh Italian sausage, bacon, ham, and Buffalo chicken.
Family friendly, My Pie is structured as a fast casual restaurant where you can eat-in, take out, and order online and pick-up. They also serve sodas, tea, beer and wine.
Manager Tiffany is exceptional and focuses on outstanding guest satisfaction. She and her team prepare fantastic food quickly and with a great attitude.
We’re true fans, and my husband is a pizza aficionado. He even makes his own dough and has a pizza oven. Yet since My Pie pizza is so good—and so close to our home—we eat there at least once a week. He hasn’t made fresh pizza in over a month—lol!
My Pie is located in Dothan on Hwy 84 in a small strip plaza adjacent to the neighborhood Walmart. We’re hooked, and think that you will be too...
Read moreMy spouse and I decided to try My Pie on May 2nd. Upon entering the restaurant a sign was posted stating that they were short of staff. We did not have an issue with waiting to be served. We paid and were given a order number to post on our table and waited patiently for our pizzas. My spouse received his pizza, I waited over 15 min for mine then was given the wrong pizza. My spouse was uncomfortable and felt awful eating while I was waiting. When we go out to dine we want to eat at the same time....NOT ONE AT A TIME. OUR ORDER WAS PLACED TOGETHER! I complained and asked for a refund, the manager tried to offer a free one. No thanks! She told me mine was given to another customer. What is the purpose of your number order ????. My spouse was so mad he left half of his pizza on the table and we left. I would not recommend this restaurant until they get new management. What a waste of money on my...
Read moreCheck your receipts. The food is descent but what they advertise isn't true. Sign said, plain and simple, "My Pie Monday, $6 classic pizza" nothing else, no fine print. I ordered 4 and got charged $9 each. I questioned it and they said it only counts for 1 pizza and have me $3, it didn't say that anywhere though. Still didn't make any sense since we could've just ordered them separately for $6 each. I decided to email corporate to question it and all they did was forward it to the general manager. That manager said because of the "confusion" that they would give me a $6 credit and change it from now on to include multiple classic pizza orders on My Pie Monday and not just 1 out of the total order. Whatever, save your $6, I won't be back. The only reason we went there was because Richie B's is...
