I'd give this fraudulent business a -10 for stars but it won't let me go that low. My fiancé specifically ordered no spicy chicken. He emphasized no spicy. He can't handle the spice it tears up his insides. We ordered regular chicken and were made to wait a long time while atleast 5 black black people who came in after we ordered, were served first. We get home (half an hours trip from the place) to find that the chicken was SPICY. He went back to calmly tell them the problem. The woman argued loudly back at him telling him that he ordered spicy and that's why we were made to wait while they fixed it. He told them my fiancée(me) was with him and she immediately countered oh I remember her but you specifically said spicy for your order. Then because he was still hungry, he still had to pay for original chicken. They did not bother to replace for free for their mistake. So much for the customer being right. We are a white couple and all of them serving were black. DO NOT ORDER YOU CHICKEN FROM THIS FRUADULANT BUSINESS. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AS WELL AS DISCRIMINATE AGIANST YOU IF YOU ARE WHITE! This is no exaggeration. It's despicable when you can't get service for just being a customer who wants good food your way and be discriminated against due to color of your skin. I get that working at Popeyes might not be someone’s dream job, but I feel you should take pride in any work you do. I work in customer service and I know how to treat a customer so that they want to come back again and again. We pulled up on a weekday evening and it was not busy at all. Both the drive thru and parking lot were empty. Maybe that should have been the person that took our order had the worst attitude and customer service skills. I was happy not to be stuck in a line, but that faded immediately as the person started taking our order. I don’t know if they were just having a bad day, but it felt like she was super annoyed that we had the audacity to come order some chicken for dinner at 5 pm. Her tone of voice was really irritated and rude and she kept curtly asking “Is that it?” After every single meal we ordered. We were picking up for 4 people, not 10 so I don’t know what the problem was. We were told it would be 7 minutes on the 3 pies we ordered and we said we were totally fine waiting. I called the store and couldn't reach anyone so call the other store here in Dothan and was able to get in touch with a General manager for the location I went to she apologized & asked me to bring my receipt so my order can be replaced , when I got to the store and spoke with the manager on duty she informed me that she can only replace the items that were missing she replaced one chicken breast & one biscuit which very Dry 🥺! I was shocked!! because as an assistant Manager myself I would have replaced my customers entire order to ensure that my customer is satisfied. I also called the other Popeyes store here in Dothan to see what the policy and procedures are for Popeyes. I was told that they can only replace missing items and not entire orders!
